Շատ կանանց է բնորոշ գումարը ծախսել երեխաների, ամուսնու, ծնողների կարիքները հոգալու համար, սակայն երբ հերթը հասնում է իրենց, նրանք սկսում են մտածել գումարը տնտեսելու եւ խնայելու մասին։ Կինը հագնում է իր երկու տարվա հագուստն ու կոշիկները, իսկ երեխաներին գնում ամենանորաձեւ ու արդիական միտումներին համապատասխան զգեստներ։ Իսկ երբ նա գնում է խանութ, ընտրում է ոչ թե այն, ինչ իսկապես ցանկանում է, այլ որն ավելի էժան է։ Նման կանանց մեջ, ասես, երկու մարդ է ապրում. մեկը ցանկանում է գնել իր հավանած իրը, իսկ մյուսը պնդում է, որ հարկավոր է ընտրել ավելի էժան տարբերակը՝ «ավելորդ» ծախսերից խուսափելու համար։

Կինը, որը տնտեսում է միայն իր ծախսերը՝

Կորցնում է իր կանացի հմայքը

Կորցնում է իր թեթեւությունն ու անհոգություն

Կորցնում է դեմքի փայլը

Հոգնածություն եւ դժգոհություն է առաջանում։

Երջանկությունն անհասանելի է դառնում նրա համար։

Կյանքը, որը լի է սահմանափակումներով եւ զրկանքներով, անիմաստ է։

Իսկ ինչու՞ են կանայք խնայում

Սեփական անձ վրա գումար խնայելու հիմքում մեղքի զգացումն ու վախն է, որ «եթե ես այսօր գումարը ծախսեմ, վաղը փող չեմ ունենա»։ Այս ԱՆՄԵՂ մնալու ցանկությունը կարող է բացասական հետեւանքներ ունենալ։ Այո, ծնողը պատասխանատու է իր երեխայի համար, բայց ոչ սեփական կյանքի եւ գեղեցկության հաշվին։ Կնոջ՝ «ավելորդ ծախսերից խուսափելու» ցանկությունը երբեմն սովորություն եւ պաթոլոգիա է դառնում, բայց դա երբեք դրական արդյունք չի ունենա։

Երբ կինը սկսում է խնայել, ն նա սկսում է ապրել ոչ թե որպես կին, այլ մայր եւ այս պարագայում առաջին տեղում հայտնվում են երեխաները։ Բայց պետք է հիշել, որ կինը լույս աշխարհ չի եկել ուրիշների համար պատասխան տալու, նրանց մասին հոգալու եւ երջանկացնելու համար։ Եթե գումար կա, ուրեմն կինը կարող է ծախսել այն՝ առանց երկմտելու եւ ինքն իրեն մեղադրելու։  Չի կարելի միայն շնչել, իսկ արտաշնչելիս մտածել խնայելու մասին։
