Ռուսաստանի, Իրանի եւ Ադրբեջանի նախագահները Բաքվում կքննարկեն եռակողմ փոխգործակցության հրատապ հարցեր: Մասնավորապես՝ «Հյուսիս-Հարավ» միջազգային տրանսպորտային միջանցքի նախագիծը, Կասպից ծովի բաժանման եւ ահաբեկչության դեմ պայքարի հարցեր: Այս մասին հայտարարել է Ռուսաստանի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը «ԱզերԹաջ»-ի հետ զրույցում:
Նրա խոսքով՝ բանակցությունների կիզակետում կլինի ընդհանուր 7200 կմ երկարությամբ «Հյուսիս-Հարավ» միջազգային տրանսպորտային միջանցքի ֆլագմանային ծրագիրը: Այն ուղղված է Հնդկաստանից, Իրանից, Պարսից ծոցի երկրներից տարանցիկ բեռների փոխադրմանը Ադրբեջանի, Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության եւ այնուհետեւ՝ Հյուսիսային եւ Արեւմտյան Եվրոպայի տարածք, նշել է Պուտինը:
Գլխավոր թեմաներից մեկը կլինի ահաբեկչության դեմ պայքարը: Պուտինը նշել է, որ միայն միասին է հնարավոր դիմակայել արմատականների սպառնալիքին: «Կքննարկվեն նաեւ փոխգործակցության այլ հեռանկարային ուղղությունները՝ էներգետիկայի, տրանսպորտային ենթակառուցվածքների ոլորտում ռազմավարական ներդրումային նախագծերի իրականացումը: Առտեւտուրն ընդլայնելու լավ հնարավորություններ կան՝ ծառայությունների միջոցով, այդ թվում՝ զբոսաշրջության, առողջապահության, կրթության ոլորտում», ասել է Ռուսաստանի նախագահը
