Վրաստանի նախագահը պաշտպանում Է Ռուսաստանի նկատմամբ «ռազմավարական համբերության ուղեգիծը»

Վրաստանի նախագահ Գեորգի Մարգվելաշվիլին հայտարարել է, որ պատրաստ է հանդիպել Ռուսաստանի ղեկավարների հետ, եթե նման մտադրություն դրսեւորվի երկուստեք, եւ եթե հանդիպումը որոշակի օրակարգ ունենա:

«Վրաստանը պետք է գնա նախապատրաստված հանդիպման, քանի որ օրակարգ չունեցող հանդիպումն ինքնին ոչ մի արժեք չի ներկայացնում: Բնականաբար, մենք պատրաստ ենք նման հանդիպման նախապատրաստմանը, եւ եթե լինի քաղաքական կամք, որը կդրսեւորվի ոչ միայն Վրաստանի, այլեւ Ռուսաստանի կողմից… եթե լինի այն բանի գիտակցումը, որ Վրաստանը Ռուսաստանի թշնամին չէ, այլ միայն բարեկամական հարաբերությունների Է ձգտում   իր ինքնիշխանության պաշտպանության պայմաններում, ապա այս ֆոնին եւ համապատասխան գերատեսչությունների աշխատանքի ֆոնին, անտարակույս, նման հանդիպո ւմն իմաստ կունենա: Դիվանագիտությունն ու քաղաքականությունը երկխոսություն են, այլ ոչ թե զենքի ճոճում»,- հայտարարել է նախագահը «Մաեստրո» հեռուստաընկերության եթերում:

Պետության ղեկավարը հույս է հայտնել, որ ինչ-որ պահի Վրաստանը եւ Ռուսաստանը կգան «ռացիոնալ երկխոսության համատեքստի»:

Մարգվելաշվիլին նաեւ նշել է, որ լիովին պաշտպանում է Ռուսաստանի նկատմամբ երկրի ընտրած արտաքին քաղաքական ուղեգիծը՝ «ռազմավարական համբերության ուղեգիծը»:

Ավելի վաղ Թբիլիսիում քանիցս հայտարարել են երկու երկրների բարձրաստիճան անձանց հանդիպումների անցկացման պատրաստակամության մասին, բայց նշել են, որ դրանց համար անհրաժեշտ է ժամանակ, նախապատրաստական աշխատանք, հանդիպումները պետք է միտված լինեն արդյունքի, հաղորդել է ՌԻԱ նովոստին:
