Թուրքիան եւ Ռուսաստանը առեւտրում կարող են օգտագործել իրենց ազգային արժույթները:
Այս մասին վկայակոչելով թուրքական Haberturk թերթը, Ռուսաստան կատարած այցի արդյունքներով լրագրողներին ասել է Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը:
Էրդողանը գտնում է, որ առեւտրում դոլարի փոխարեն ազգային արժույթների օգտագործումը շահավետ կլինի Ռուսաստանի եւ Թուրքիայի համար:
Թուրքական ԶԼՄ-ների համաձայն` ընթացիկ տարվա առաջին կեսին Թուրքիայի եւ Ռուսաստանի միջեւ ապրանքաշրջանառությունը կազմել է 8 մլրդ դոլար, իսկ անցյալ տարվա համապատասխան ժամանակաշրջանում` 10-11 մլրդ դոլար:
Թուրքիայի վիճակագրական ինստիտուտի տվյալներով` Ռուսաստանի հետ ապրանքաշրջանառությունը 2015 թվականին կազմել էր 23 մլրդ դոլար:
ՌԴ-ի Թուրքիայի միջեւ ապրանքաշրջանառության նվազումը կապված է անցյալ տարվա նոյեմբերին Սիրիայի տարածքում հակաահաբեկչական գործողությունների ժամանակ թուրքական օդուժի կողմից ռուսական Սու-24 ռմբակոծիչի դավադրաբար խոցման պատճառով երկու երկրների հարաբերությունների վատացման հետ:
Միջադեպի կապակցությամբ Էրդողանի կողմից Պուտինից ներողություն խնդրելուց հետո երկու երկրների առաջնորդները հանդիպել են Սանկտ Պետերբուրգում եւ որոշել վերականգնել նախկին տնտեսական կապերը:
