Աշխատանքային այցով Բրազիլիայի Դաշնային Հանրապետությունում գտնվող Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը Հայաստանի ազգային օլիմպիական կոմիտեի նախագահ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանի ուղեկցությամբ օգոստոսի 13-ին Ռիո դե Ժանեյրո քաղաքի օլիմպիական ավանում հանդիպում է ունեցել 31-րդ ամառային օլիմպիական խաղերում Հայաստանը ներկայացնող մարզիկների հետ:

Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ Նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության և տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից, Նախագահը վստահություն է հայտնել, որ հայ մարզիկները ունենալու են հաջողություններ և հիշեցրել, որ այդ հաջողությունները նաև մեր ժողովրդին ավելի ճանաչելի են դարձնում: Սերժ Սարգսյանը շեշտել է, որ հայ մարզիկները մրցելու են այլ՝ ավելի մեծ ազգերի ընտրյալների հետ, ովքեր իրենց սեփական երկրներում հազարավոր մրցակիցներ ունեն, և այդ հանգամանքից ելնելով է, որ հայ մարզիկի ձեռքբերումը ավե լի է արժևորվելու:

«Ձեր երկրպագուները շատ են, բայց ձեր առաջին երկրպագուները, առաջին սատարողները Հայաստանի քաղաքացիներն են, ձեր մարզիչներն են, Օլիմպիական կոմիտեն է: Դուք ինձնից շատ լավ գիտեք՝ լարվել պետք չէ: Սպորտը այնպիսի բան է, որ միշտ կարող է լինել հաջողություն և անհաջողություն՝ կարևորը, որ դուք կարողանաք ամբողջովին դրսևորվել: Վերջին տարիներին բավականաչափ աճել է մրցանակների թիվը: Նորից եմ կրկնում, ամենակարևորը այն է, որ դուք կարողանաք ամբողջովին դրսևորվել»,- հանդիպման ընթացքում ասել է Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը:
