Արդեն հայտնել ենք, որ նախագահական նստավայրում մեկնարկել են սահմանադրական փոփոխությունների շուրջ քաղաքական ուժերի հանդիպումները Սերժ Սարգսյանի հետ: Այդ քննարկումների շրջանակում այսօր հանդիպում է եղել «Բարգավաճ Հայաստան» կուսակցության ներկայացուցիչներ Նաիրա Զոհրաբյանի, Միքայել Մելքումյանի, Աբրահամ Մանուկյանի, Վահան Բաբայանի և Վարդան Վարդանյանի հետ:

Հիշեցնենք, որ ոչ վաղ անցյալում, անդրադառնալով սահմանադրական փոփոխություններին, կուսակցության ղեկավար Նաիրա Զոհրաբյանը դրանք անվանել է ոչ թե «սահմանադրական բարեփոխումներ» , այլ «սահմանադրական չարեփոխումներ»:

Past.am-ը ԲՀԿ մամուլի խոսնակ Վահան Բաբայանից հետաքրքրվել է՝ որքանո՞վ է այսօրվա հանդիպումը տեղավորվում նախկինում արված հայտարարությունների տրամաբանության մեջ: Վահան Բաբայանը մասնավորապես ասաց հետևյալը.

«Սա մեկնաբանության խնդիր է: Ամիսներ շարունակ մենք քննարկում ենք և վերլուծում ենք նոր Սահմանադրությունը, ընդգծում ենք այն կետերը, որոնք մեզ համար սկզբունքային են: Այդ ամենը դինամիկ գործընթաց է: Եթե մի ժամանակ մենք կարծիք ենք հայտնել, ապա դա չի նշանակում, որ իրավիճակի փոփոխության և մեր կողմից ընդունելի սկզբունքային կետերի ավելացման դեպքում մենք չենք կարող քննարկել այդ հարցն ու դրական կարծիք ունենալ: Ի վերջո, քաղաքականությունը կարծրատիպերի մեջ չէ: Մենք լիովին հասկանում ենք, որ ժամանակին ունեցել ենք այլ տեսակետներ, բայց այդ պահին չի եղել Սահմանադրության վերջնական նախագիծը:

Հիմա քաղաքական իրավիճակ է փոխվել այն առումով, որ իշխանության վերարտադրության հետ կապված մենք բացառում ենք այն հարցերը, որոնք առաջ էին քաշված նախկինում: Կան նաև շատ այլ կետեր, որոնց շուրջ մենք այսօր կարողանում ենք գալ ընդհանուր հայտարարի»: Այն հարցին՝ ի՞նչ սկզբունքային կետերի մասին է խոսքը, որոնք փոփոխության են ենթարկվել, Վահան Բաբայանը պատասխանեց, որ այդ մասին շուտով կհայտարարվի իրավաբանական տիրույթում: Բաբայանն ընդամենն ասաց, որ դրանք կապված են հավաքների ազատության հետ, նախագահի ընտրիչների հետ և այլ հարցերի շուրջ:
