Մարզասրահում մարզվելուց հետո մի քանի ժամը ամենակարևոր ժամերն են մեր մկանների համար, քանի որ դրանք վերականգնվում են, ուժեղանում և աճում:

Եվ եթե մենք այդ ժամանակ ալկոհոլ ենք օգտագործում, այն խափանում է այդ պրոցեսը, դանդաղեցնում հորմոնների՝ մկանների աճը խթանելու արդյունավետությունը:

Սա հատկապես վնասակար է տղամարդկանց համար:

«Եթե դուք լուրջ մարզումներով եք զբաղվում, սակայն որոշել եք որ այդ նույն օրը մարզվելու եք և դրանից հետո ոգելից խմիչք խմելու եք գնալու, ուրեմն ձեր այդ օրվա մարզվելը իմաստ չունի,» - ասում է Նորթ Թեքսասի համալսարանի պրոֆեսոր Ջեյքոբ Վինգրենը:

«Շատ հավանական է, որ հաջորդ օրը դուք շատ ավելի վատ ձեզ զգաք, քան եթե մարզասրահ գնացած չլինեիք:»

Այս ուսումնասիրույթանը մասնակցել են ֆիզիկապես ակտիվ 10 տղամարդ և 9 կին:

Մարզվելուց առաջ խումբը մկանների բիոպսիայի թեստ էր անցել:

Մարզումներից հետո մասնակիցերին տվեցին խմիչքներ՝ նրանցից կեսին տվեցին ջուր, իսկ մյուս կեսին ջրով խառնած օղի:

Ալկոհոլ օգտագործած խումբը 10 րոպեում սպառեց մոտ 6 բաժակ օղի: Խմելուց 1-3 ժամ անց նրանք կրկին հետազոտվեցին:

Արդյունքներից պարզ դարձավ, որ ալկոհոլ օգտագործած խմբի մոտ մկանների աճի կտրուկ անկում էր գրանցվել՝ հատկապես տղամարդկանց մոտ:

Այսպիսով՝ ալկոհոլը նվազեցրել էր mTORC1-ի ակտիվությունը, որը խթանում է մկանների աճը մարզումներից հետո:

Հետազոտողները կարծում են, որ տղամարդիկ ավելի խոցելի էին այս դեպքում, քանի որ ալկոհոլը ամենաշատը վնասում է տեստոստերոնը, ինչն իր հերթին օգնում է մկանների աճին:
