«Ես միշտ զարմացել եմ, որ ամենաբիրտ, ամենավայրագ բռնությունների կողմնակիցները, իսկ երբեմն նաև՝ մասնակիցները, իշխանությունը կորցնելուն պես դառնում են այնպիսի նուրբ ու զուլալ դեմոկրատներ ու մարդասերներ, որ մայր Թերեզան կամ ակադեմիկոս Սախարովը նրանց կողքին բավականին կոպիտ են երևում։ Այդպիսի մարդիկ, ինչպես հայտնի է, կան թե առաջին և թե երկրորդ նախագահի շրջապատում։ Ես հակված չեմ դա բացատրել բացառապես դերասանությամբ կամ երեսպաշտությամբ։ Մարդիկ իսկապես փոխվում են։ Հակառակ ուղղությամբ էլ են փոխվում։ Նախկին ընդդիմադիրը դառնում է նախարար, և փոխվում է ամեն ինչ՝ դեմքը կլորանամ է, մաշկը սպիտակում է, հայացքը փոքր–ինչ բթանում է, «պարֆումն» ավելի որակյալ է դառնում, իսկ «բարևը» (ուղղված մեզ՝ շարքային մահկանացուներիս) դառնում է ավելի «ներողամիտ»։

Մարդը, մի խոսքով, փոփոխական է ։ Բայց նախ՝ ցանկալի է, որ նա հիշի, որ ոչինչ հավերժ չէ (ծեծված ճշմարտություն է, բայց չափազանց օգտակար)։ Երկրորդ՝ շատ ավելի կարևոր է, որ մարդը գոնե ինքն իրեն հաշվետվություն տա՝ իսկ որո՞նք են իր վարքի իրական շարժառիթները։

Ես որևէ կոնկրետ անձի նկատի չունեմ։ Ես նկատի ունեմ պետական և քաղաքական համակարգը, որի հիմքը դրվել է 1994 թվականին Վազգեն Սարգսյանի կողմից և, իհարկե, Լևոն Տեր-Պետրոսյանի բացարձակ թողտվությամբ։ Համակարգի հիմքը հետևյալն է՝ կարելի է շարունակել հերոս և ազգի նվիրյալ մնալ՝ քո պետության ներսում լկտի ապօրինություններ գործելով։

Լևոն Երանոսյանը նույնպես Արցախյան պատերազմի մասնակից է։ Նրա մարմնում դեռ մնացել են թշնամու բեկորներն ու գնդակները։ Դա չի արդարացնում, չէ՞, նրա գլխավորությամբ իրականացված վայրագությունները»,–գրում է թերթի խմբագիրը։
