Ռիոյում ձերբակալվել է Եվրոպական օլիմպիական կոմիտեի ղեկավար Պատրիկ Հիքքին

Եվրոպական օլիմպիական կոմիտեի ղեկավար Պատրիկ Հիքքին ձերբակալվել է Ռիո դե Ժանեյրոյում՝ Օլիմպիադայի տոմսերի ապօրինի վաճառքի գործով։
71-ամյա Հիքքին կասկածվում է միջնորդին տոմսերի անօրինական փոխանցման մեջ՝ առավել բարձր գներով տոմսերը վաճառելու համար։ Մեկ օր առաջ Ռիոյում ձերբակալվել էր տղամարդ՝ միջոցառումների 800 տոմսերով, որոնք վաճառելու իրավունք նա չուներ։
Ըստ ոստիկանության հայտարարության, Հիքքին, ով նաև ղեկավարում է Իռլանդիայի ազգային օլիմպիական կոմիտեն, ձերբակալության ժամանակ փորձել է փախչել։
Ձերբակալումից հետո Հիքքին իրեն վատ է զգացել, նրան բուժօգնություն է ցուցաբերվել։
Ըստ բրազիլական ԶԼՄ-ների, Հիքքիի ձերբակալությունը կարող է կապված լինել Օլիմպիական խաղերի բացման օրը ձերբակալված Քևին Ջեյմս Մելլոնի հետ, ով ևս զբաղվել է օլիմպիական տոմսերի անօրինական վաճառքով։
