Թոք շոուի հայտնի հաղորդավար Էլեն ԴեՋեներեսին քննադատել են ֆոտոշոփված լուսանկար հրապարակելու համար, որտեղ նա իբրև օլիմպիական չեմպիոն Հուսեին Բոլտի շալակին է:
Օլիմպիական խաղերում 100-մետրանոց տարածության մեջ Հուսեին Բոլտի տարած հաղթանակից հետո Էլեն ԴեՋեներեսը մի զվարճալի լուսանկար էր հրապարակել, որտեղ 29-ամյա վազորդի շալակին է: Լուսանկարը Էլենը վերնագրել էր. «Ես արդեն այսպես եմ աշխատանքի գնալու: #Rio2016: »
Լուսանկարում Հուսեինը ժպտում է և նայում իր մրցակիցներին, ում նա հաղթել էր:
Այս զվարճալի լուսանկարները շատերը սխալ էին հասկացել և այն ռասիստական համարել:
Նրա լուսանկարի տակ կային այնպիսի մեկնաբանություններ, ինչպիսիք էին. «Չնայած այս լուսանկարն ուղղակի զվարճացնելու համար էր ստեղծված, սա շատ վիրավորական է և հետին մտքեր ունի:»
Մեկ ուրիշը գրել էր. «Ուրեմն նրան կենդանու նման հեծնելը զվարճալի՞ է համարվում:»
«Անկեղծ ասած՝ սա վիրավորական և անհարգալից է,» - գրել էր մեկ ուրիշը:
Իսկ այս ամենին ի պատասխան Էլեն ԴեՋեներեսը գրել էր. «Ես շատ լավ տեղյակ եմ մեր երկրում տիրող ռասիզմի մասին, և ես շատ հեռու եմ դրանից:»
Իսկ վազորդ Հուսեին Բոլտը ամենևին էլ չի վիրավորվել Էլենի կատակից, քանի որ նա ռեթվիթ էր արել այդ լուսանկարը իր՝ 4 միլիոն հետևորդ ունեցող էջում:
Իհարկե Էլլենի բազմաթիվ երկրպագուներ պաշտպանեցին Էլլենին՝ ասելով, որ դա ռասիստական չէ, այն ուղղակի զվարճալի լուսանկար է և Հուսեինն էլ իր հերթին չի վիրավորվել այդ լուսանկարից:
