Հասեքե նահանգային կենտրոնի շրջանում (Դամասկոսից 720 կիլոմետր հեռավորության վրա) քրդական ինքնապաշտպանության ուժերը ենթարկվել են Սիրիայի ռազմաօդային ուժերի հարվածներին: Ինչպես, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով «Ալ Մայադին» հեռուստաալիքին, քրդական ինքնապաշտպանության ուժերի աշխարհազորայինների վեց դիրքերի (երեք ուղեփակոց եւ երեք հրամանատարական կետ) վրա հարձակումը հետեւել Է ի պատասխան այն ճնշման, որը քրդական վարչակազմը գործադրում Է քաղաքում մնացած՝ կենտրոնական իշխանության ներկայացուցիչների վրա:    

Քրդերը պահանջում են, որ զինվորական կայազորը եւ Բաաս կուսակցության կամավորների ջոկատները հեռանան Հասեքեից: Մինչդեռ Սիրիայի հյուսիսում «ահաբեկիչների հրոսակախմբերից ազատագրված շրջաններում կառավարման ֆեդերատիվ համակարգ սահմանելու քրդերի մտադրությունները Դամասկոսում գնահատում են որպես «ոտնձգություն ազգային ինքնիշխանության նկատմամբ»:

«Ալ Մայադինը» տեղեկություններ չի հայտնում ավիահարվածների հետեւանքով զոհվածների եւ վիրավորների թվի վերաբերյալ: «Ֆիրաթ» քրդական լրատվական գործակալությունը տեղեկացրել Է «խաղաղ բնակչության շրջանում տասնյակ տուժածների եւ Հասեքեի բնակչության շրջանում սկսված խուճապի մասին: Քրդական ինքնապաշտպանության ուժերի պաշտոնական ներկայացուցիչ Ռիդոր Խալիլը «Ֆիրաթ»-ին հայտարարել Է, որ Սիրիայի ռազմաօդային ուժերը երկրում հակամարտության հինգ տարվա ընթացքում առաջին անգամ են հարված հասցրել քրդական աշխարհազորայինների դիրքերին, հ աղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
