Հնդկաստանի վարչապետ Նարենդրա Մոդիի՝ մոնոգրամայով զարդարված կոստյումը Գինեսի ռեկորդների գրքի կողմից ճանաչվել է որպես աճուրդում վաճառված ամենաթանկարժեք ժամանակակից կոստյում, հայտնում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը՝ վկայակոչելով «Հինդու» թերթը:

Այդ կոստյումը, որը կարված է հյուսիս- հնդկական նորաձեւության ավանդույթներով, վարչապետը հատուկ պատվիրել էր անցած տարի ԱՄՆ նախագահ Բարաք Օբամայի հետ հանդիպման համար ու ընդամենը մեկ անգամ էր հագել: անցած տարվա փետրվարին կայացած հանդիպումից հետո Մոդին կոստյումը բարեգործական աճուրդի էր դրել, որից ստացված միջոցները փոխանցվել էին հիմնադրամ, որը սրբազան Գանգես գետի ջրի մաքրման ծրագրեր է իրականացնում:

Հնդկաստանի Ահմեդաբադում ապրող հանրահայտ դերձակի կարած կոստյումը, որի համար Մոդին, մամուլի տվյալներով, մոտ մեկ միլիոն ռուպի էր վճարել, գնվել էր 43 մլն ռուպիով ( ավելի քան 693 հազար դոլար): Գնորդը ալմաստե բարոն Լալջիբպաի Պատելն էր, ադամանդների առեւտրով զբաղվող ընկերության սեփականատերը: Նա դիմել էր Գինեսի ռեկորդների գրքին, որպեսզի «այդ գնումը պատմության մեջ մտնի»: Եվ ահա մի քանի ամիս անց նրան պաշտոնական հավաստագիր են ուղարկել՝ ռեկորդի հաստատումով:

«Սա երջանկության ու հպարտության առիթ է, որ այս կոստյումը մտել է Գինեսի ռեկորդների գիրք: Մենք ռեկորդի մասին հավաստագիրը մոտ հինգ ամիս առաջ էինք խնդրել:Հիմա ստացել ենք հավաստագիր, որը հաստատում է, որ սա աճուրդում վաճառված աշխարհի ամենաթանկարժեք կոստյումն է»,- մեջբերում է պարբերականը կոստյումի նոր սեփականատիրոջ որդու՝ Խիտեշ Պատելի խոսքը:

Հիմա վարչապետի կոստյումը պահվում է Լալջիբխաի Պատելի ընկերության նախասրահում՝ ամուր ապակուց պատրաստված ցուցափեղկում, նշում է պարբերականը:
