Պատերազմի սկզբից Սիրիայում զոհվել է 14700 երեխա. իրավապաշտպաններ

2011 թվականից Սիրիայում զոհվել է ավելի քան 14700 երեխա: Նրանց մեծամասնությունը դարձել են ռմբակոծության և մարտական գործողությունների զոհ, հարյուրավոր երեխաներ զոհվել են սովից կամ հիվանդություններից: Այդպիսի տվյալներ է հրապարակել Մարդու իրավուքների պաշտպանության մոնիթորինգի սիրիական կենտրոնը, հայտնում է Deutsche Welle-ը:
Human Rights Watch-ի տեղեկատվությամբ՝ պատերազմի ժամանակ նվազագույնը 1433 երեխա բանտարկության են ենթարկվել, որոնցից 436-ն է միայն ազատ արձակվել:
Իրավապաշտպանների տվյալներով՝ նվազագույնը հարյուր փոքր տարիքի երեխա բանտարկության ժամանակ ենթարկվել է խոշտանգումների:
ՅՈՒՆԻՍԵՖ-ի տվյալներով՝ 2011 թվականի մարտին քաղաքացիական պատերազմի սկզբից Սիրիայում ծնվել է շուրջ 3.7 միլիոն երեխա:
Ընդհանուր առմամբ այսօրվա դրությամբ 8.4 միլիոն սիրիացի երեխա' երկրի երեխաների 80%-ը, այսպես կամ այնպես իրենց վրա զգացել է պատերազմի հետևանքները, կամ Սիրիայում, կամ որպես փախստական այլ երկրներում:
Այսօր Սիրիայի արգելափակված շրջաններում գտնվող 600 հազար սիրիացիների գրեթե կեսը երեխաներ են: Երկրում 2.1 միլիոն երեխա չեն կարողանում այցելել դպրոց:
700 հազար սիրիացի երեխաներ, որոնք գտնվում են այլ, մեծ մասամբ Սիրիայի հարևան երկրներում, նույնպես չեն կարողանում ստանալ կրթություն:
