Հաշմանդամություն ունեցող անձինք հասարակության լիարժեք անդամներ են, եւ նրանց հետ տարվող աշխատանքը պետք է շարունակական լինի:

«Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ` լրագրողների հետ զրույցում նման համոզմունք հայտնեցԱշխատանքի և սոցիալական հարցերինախարարության բժշկասոցիալականփորձաքննության գործակալության պետԱրմեն Սողոյանը:

«Նրանց մասին չպետք է մոռանալ, այլ անհրաժեշտ է կատարել կարիքների գնահատում եւ մատուցել համապատասխան ծառայություններ: Այժմ մենք գտնվում ենք մի շատ կարեւոր գործընթացում. դա բարեփոխումների նախապատրաստման գործընթացն է: Խոսքը Ֆունկցիաների միջազգային դասակարգման  /ՖՄԴ/ հաշմանդամության  սահմանման նոր մոդելի ներդրումն է Հայաստանում, որի նպատակն է գնահատել քաղաքացիների իրական կարիքները`ըստ այդմ  սահմանելով համապատասխան ծառայություններ: Բարեփոխումների արդյունքում մենք նախատեսում ենք ծառայություն ստացողների ավելի մեծ շրջաÕ �ակի ներգրավվածություն»,-ասաց Արմեն Սողոյանը:

Նա տեղեկացրեց, որ նոր մոդելի ներդրման ուղղությամբ տարվող աշխատանքների մեկնարկը կտրվի 2017-ին, իսկ այս տարվա հոկտեմբերի 20-21-ին Հայաստանում կանցկացվի «Հաշմանդամություն ունեցող անձանց իրավունքների մասին ՄԱԿ-ի կոնվենցիայի կատարմանն ընդառաջ» միջազգային գիտաժողովը Առողջապահության համաշխարհային կազմակերպության,  Աշխատանքի միջազգային կազմակերպության եւ այլ երկրների ներկայացուցիչների մասնակցությամբ` միտված բարեփոխումների գործընթացում փորձի փոխանակմանը:

Նա նաեւ հստակեցրեց, որ չկա ինչ-որ կոնկրետ հիվանդություն, ըստ որի անձը կարող է ճանաչվել հաշմանդամ. այն կախված է տվյալ հիվանդության ծանրության աստիճանից. արդյոք կա՞ ֆունկցիայի խանգարում, եւ թե այն կբերի կենսագործունեության որեւէ տեսակի սահմանափակման:
