Ներկայացնում ենք թերթի խմբագրականից մի հատված.

«Ամեն տարի ես աշխատում եմ իմ կարճատև ամառային արձակուրդն անցկացնել եվրոպական որևէ երկրում։ Դա ողջ տարվա լարված աշխատանքից հետո ոչ միայն հանգստանալու և զվարճանալու հնարավորություն է խնայած դրա մեջ էլ որևէ վատ բան չեմ տեսնում), այլև հասկանալու այն մշակույթը, այն հասարակարգը և այն ապրելակերպը, որոնց մեզնից շատերը, կարծես թե, ձգտում  են։

Այս տասն օրում մենք եղանք Գերմանիայում և Շվեյցարիայում, մի քանի ժամով էլ նույնիսկ՝ Ավստրիայով և Ֆրանսիայում։ Եվս մեկ անգամ հերքեմ հիմնականում ռուսաստանյան լրատվամիջոցների կողմից ստեղծվող մռայլ պատկերները, որոնցով, ցավոք սրտի, լվանում են նաև հայաստանցիներից շատերի ուղեղները։ Բեռլինի, Պոտսդամի, Մյունխենի, Նյուրնբերգի, Զալցբուրգի, ժնևի փողոցներում մենք չտեսանք փախստականների ամբոխներ, ագրեսիվ ասիացիներ, ինչպես նաև՝ ամեն քայլափոխի համբուրվող միասեռականների։

Եվրոպայի մայրամուտի մասին պարբերաբար, դեռևս Հին Հռոմի ժամանակներից պարբերաբար կրկնվող կանխատեսումները խիստ չափազանցված են։

Տեսնում էի հիմնականում կազմակերպված, կարգապահ, բարեհամբույր և քիչ թե շատ բարեկեցիկ մարդկանց, որոնք, իհարկե, խնդիրներ ունեն, բայց նրանց խնդիրները մերի համեմատ այլ բնույթի  են և այլ որակի։

Այստեղ, կարծում եմ, ազգային առանձնահատկությունները մեծ դեր չեն խաղում. Գերմանիայում թուրքերի մեծ մասը նույնպես ապրում է «գերմանական կանոններով»։ Դա տարբերություն է մի քանի դարի պատմություն ունեցող պետությունների և 25 տարվա պետության միջև։ Կամ, եթե ավելի պատկերավոր ասենք, տարբերություն է խիստ չվացուցակով աշխատող Ժնևյան տրամվայների և 3-րդ գծից ուղևոր նստեցնող երևանյան «մարշրուտկաների» միջև»,–գրում է թերթի խմբագիրը։
