Հայերը սուրճի սիրահար են: Բնակչության մեծամասնությունը միջինում ամեն օր 1-4 գավաթ սուրճ է ըմպում: Հատկանշական է, որ կանայք 2x ավելի շատ են օգտագործում կոֆեին:

Ցուցակի առաջատարը աղի կաթնամթերքն է: Անսովոր է պատկերացնել հայի սեղանն առանց այս մթերքի: Այն ասես մեր ազգային ուտեստներից լինի: Մի խոսքով, պանիրը ամենաշատ սպառվող մթերքն է մեր երկրում՝ չնայած հասարակ քաղաքացու համար ոչ այնքան էժան գնի:
