Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանն այսօր ընդունել է Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունում Եգիպտոսի Արաբական Հանրապետության արտակարգ եւ լիազոր դեսպան Մոհամմեդ Ալա ալ-Դին Սաադ ալ-Լեյսիին, ով ավարտում է դիվանագիտական առաքելությունը մեր երկրում:

Հանրապետության նախագահը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել Սաադ ալ-Լեյսիին` դեսպանի բարձր պաշտոնում հայ-եգիպտական հարաբերությունները զարգացնելու ուղղությամբ ներդրած ջանքերի համար եւ մաղթել հաջողություններ:

Սերժ Սարգսյանը գոհունակությամբ է նշել, որ դեսպան Սաադ ալ-Լեյսիի պաշտոնավարման ընթացքում ակտիվացել են երկկողմ միջպետական հարաբերությունները, ընդլայնվել է համագործակցության օրակարգը, այդ ընթացքում հանդիպումներ են տեղի ունեցել երկու երկրների նախագահների ու վարչապետների մակարդակով, եւ ստեղծված են բոլոր նախադրյալները հարաբերություններն ավելի խորացնելու եւ ամրապնդելու համար: Նախագահը հույս է հայտնել, որ Հայաստանում Եգիպտոսի հաջորդ դեսպանը լավագույնս կօգտագործի այդ նախադրյալները՝ նոր եռանդով ու նվիրվածությամբ կատարելով իր առաքելությունը ի նպաստ երկու բարեկամ երկրների եւ ժողովուրդների:

Դեսպան Սաադ ալ-Լեյսին շնորհակալություն է հայտնել նախագահին ջերմ խոսքերի եւ գնահատանքի համար, վստահեցնելով, որ Հայաստանում իր պաշտոնավարման շուրջ չորսուկես տարիներին արել է ամեն հնարավորը՝ Հայաստանի ու Եգիպտոսի միջեւ հարաբերությունների զարգացման համար եւ հեռանում է մեր երկրից ջերմ հիշողություններով՝ մշտապես մնալով Հայաստանի բարեկամը:
