1. Էլեկտրոմեքենաների լիցքավորման կայաններ կան ամեն 50 մետրի վրա

Հոլանդիայի ամենաուժեղ կողմերից է կայուն շարժունակությունը։ Այդ իսկ  պատճառով, փորձելով վերջնականապես հրաժարվել վառելանյութով աշխատող մեքենաներից, իշխանությունները սկսեցին տեղադրել կայաններ նոր սերնդի մեքենաների լիցքավորման համար

2. Աշխարհում միակ պետությունն է որտեղ թափառական կենդանիներ չկան

 Վերջերս պաշտոնապես հաստատվել է, որ Հոլանդիայում չկան լքված շներ ու կատուներ։ Իշխանությունները հասել են դրան՝ կենդանիներին ոչ մի վնաս չպատճառելով։ Կենդանիներին իրավունքներ են տրվել ու խստորեն պատժում են այն տերերին, ովքեր վատ են վարվում իրենց կենդանիների հետ

3. Հոլանդիայում առաջինն են հայտնվել հեծանիվների համար նախատեսված ճանապարհներ ու արևային մարտկոցնեով ավտոմագիստրալներ

SolaRoad պռոյեկտը ստեղծվել է կառավարության, մասնավոր սեկտորի ու համալսարանների համագործակցության արդյունքում։ Ճանապարհի առաջին մասը բացվել է 2015 թվականին։ Երկարությունը 100 մետր է ու դա մեծ առաջընթաց է ապագայի ճանապարհ կառուցելու գործում։ Գաղափարն այն է, որ ճանապարհը արևից էներգիա է գեներացնում, որից օգտվում են փողոցային լուսավորության, մեխանիկական ու էլեկտրական տրանսպորտի համար
 

4. Իշխանություններն աստիճանաբար արգելում են վառելանյութով մեքենաները

Ընդամենը 9 տարուց՝ 2025 թվականին, Հոլանդիայի կառավարությունը ծրագրավորում է ամբողջովին արգելել դիզելով ու բենզինով մեքենաները։ Այլընտրանքային մեքենաների համար հարկը հանվել է, ինչի շնորհիվ այդ մեքենաները էժանացել են 15000 եվրոյով
 
 
5. Երկրում հանցագործների բացակայության պատճառով փակվում են բանտերը
 
Հոլանդիայում վաղուց են աշխատանքներ տարվում հանցագործության մակարդակը նվազեցնելու համար։ 2009 թվականից ձերբակալվածների քչության պատճառով փակվել է 19 բանտ։ Վերջին տվյալներով 100.000 բնակչությանն ընկնում է 163 հանցագործ, ինչը կիսով չափ քիչ է Բրազիլիայից
 
 
6. Հոլանդիայում կան էկոդուկներ՝ հատուկ կամուրջներ նախատեսված անտառում ապրող կենդանիների համար
 
Հոլանդիայի իշխանությունների առաջնային խնդիրներից է նաև վայրի կենդանիների պաշտպանությունը։ Որպեսզի կենդանիները կարողանան անցնել մայրուղիները առանց վտանգի այսպիսի հատուկ կամուրջներ կառուցվել, որոնք հնարավորություն են տալի անտառի մի մասից մյուսը տեղափոխվել
 
 
7. Հոլանդիայում կա քաղաք, որտեղ ոչ մեկ չի օգտագործում ավտոմեքենա
 
Հաուտեն քաղաքը ճանաչվել է աշխարհի ամենաանվտանգ վայր 1980-ականների սկզբից քաղաքի 4000 բնակիչներն իրենց առջև խնդիր դրեցին աստիճանաբար մոտիվացնել բոլորին հրաժարվելու ավտոմեքենաներից ու որպես փոխադրամիջոց օգտագործել հեծանիվներ։ Այդպիսով գրեթե յուրաքանչյուր բնակչի մոտ հեծանիվով երթևեկությունը դարձավ սովորություն
