Բրազիլիայի Դաշնային սենատը (խորհրդարանի վերին պալատ) 61 կողմ 20 դեմ ձայների հարաբերակցությամբ պաշտպանել է Դիլմա Ռուսսեֆֆի հրաժարականը` երկրի նախագահի պաշտոնից: Ինչպես փոխանցում է«Արմենպրես»-ը` այդ մասին հաղորդում է TASS-ը:
Դա նշանակում է, որ նա վերջնականապես կլքի իր պաշտոնը, իսկ երկիրը մինչ 2018 թվականը կգլխավորի փոխնախագահ Միշել Տեմերը:
