Մարտին Շուլցը մեկնում է Թուրքիա

Եվրոպական խորհրդարանի նախագահ Մարտին Շուլցը սեպտեմբերի 1-ին կայցելի Թուրքիա:
Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը` վկայակոչելով Deutsche Welle-ի թուրքական ծառայությունը, այցի ընթացքում քննարկվելիք հիմնական թեմաներն են լինելու Թուրքիայի քաղաքացիների համար վիզային ռեժիմի ազատականացմանը, մարդու իրավունքներին և իրավական պետությանն առնչվող հարցեր:
Թուրքիայում հուլիսի 15-ի ձախողված ռազմական հեղաշրջումից հետո Մարտին Շուլցն առաջին ԵՄ բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյան է, ով այցելում է այդ երկիր: Ակնկալվում է նրա հանդիպումը Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանի, վարչապետ Բինալի Յըլդըրըմի, արտաքին գործերի նախարար Մևլութ Չավուշօղլուի և Թուրքիայի Ազգային մեծ ժողովի նախագահ Իսմայիլ Քահրամանի հետ:
Ռազմական հեղաշրջման ձախողված փորձից հետո Թուրքիայի և ԵՄ հարաբերությունները զգալիորեն լարվել էին, քանի որ Եվրամիության շատ գործիչներ դատապարտել էին թուրքական իշխանությունների կողմից երկրում տարվող գործողությունները, որոնք խախտում էին մարդու իրավունքներն ու իրավական պետության սկզբունքները: Իր հերթին պաշտոնական Անկարան դատապարտել էր ԵՄ-ին իրեն բավարար չափով աջակցություն չցուցաբերելու համար:
