Ռուսաստանը չի պատրաստվում այս ու այն կողմ ընկնել Եվրոպայի եւ Ասիայի միջեւ, բայց բազմավեկտոր ինքնուրույն ուղեգծի հետամուտ կլինի արտաքին քաղաքականության բնագավառում: Այս մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հայտարարել Է ՌԴ-ի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովը՝ ելույթ ունենալով Մոսկվայի Միջազգայն հարաբերությունների պետական ինստիտուտի ուսանողների առջեւ:  

Ռուսաստանը պատրաստ Է ԱՄՆ-ի եւ ԵՄ-ի հետ լիարժեք հարաբերությունների վերականգնմանը, բայց իրավահավասարության հիման վրա, նշել Է Լավրովը: «Մենք չենք պատրաստվում երես դարձնել որեւիցե մեկից: Մենք պատրաստ ենք նորմալ, լիարժեք հարաբերություններ վերականգնելու ԵՄ-ի եւ ԱՄՆ-ի հետ, բայց բացառապես իրավահավասարության հիման վրա՝ առանց այդ հարաբերությունները մեկ դարպասի խաղի վերածելու որեւԷ փորձի»,- ասել Է նա:

Նախարարի խոսքով՝ ԱՄՆ-ի, ԵՄ-ի եւ ՆԱՏՕ-ի հետ գործերը «սովորականի նման» վարել արդեն չի ստացվի, ՌԴ-ն աշակերտի «վիճակում» չի լինի: ՌԴ-ն պատրաստ կլինի աշխատել ԱՄՆ-ի ցանկացած նոր ղեկավարի հետ: «Մենք պատրաստ կլինենք աշխատելու ցանկացած ղեկավարի հետ, որը վստահություն կստանա ազատ ժողովրդավարական ընտրությունների ընթացքում»,- հավաստիացրել Է Լավրովը:

ՌԴ-ի արտաքին գործերի նախարարը նաեւ հայտարարել Է, որ նոր սառը պատերազմի սկսվելը քիչ հավանական Է, իրադարձությունների նման զարգացման համար նախադրյալներ չկան, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
