Շոտլանդիայի բնակիչների մեծամասնությունը պաշտպանում Է տարածաշրջանը Միացյալ Թագավորության կազմում պահելը, չնայած Եվրամիության կազմից երկիրը դուրս բերելու բրիտանական կառավարության պլաններին: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հայտնել Է Times թերթը՝ հիմնվելով նոր հարցման տվյալների վրա:
Շոտլանդիայում անկախության հարցի շուրջ հանրաքվեի անցկացման պահից ի վեր իրադրությունը գործնականում չի փոխվել: Լոնդոնի եւ Էդինբուրգի միության պահպանման օգտին հանդես Է եկել հարցվածների 54 տոկոսը, 46 տոկոսը պաշտպանել Է ինքնիշխանության հռչակման գաղափարը: Ընդ որում՝ 49 տոկոսը վստահ Է, որ Միացյալ Թագավորության կազմում Շոտլանդիան ավելի շատ տնտեսական օգուտներ Է ստանում, այս պնդմանը չի համաձայնել հետազոտության մասնակիցների 23 տոկոսը:
Եվրամիությունից Մեծ Բրիտանիայի դուրս գալուց առաջ Շոտլանդիայի անկախության շուրջ երկրորդ հանրաքվեն անցկացնելու գաղափարը պաշտպանել Է հարցվածների միայն 37 տոկոսը, դրան դեմ Է 50 տոկոսը: Մեծ Է նրանց բաժինը, ովքեր դժվարացել են պատասխանել առաջադրված հարցերին:
