Հաղորդավար Իվան Ուրգանտը վաղուց ամուսնացած է եւ երկու դուստր ունի։ Սակայն մինչ ներկայիս կնոջ՝ Նատալյայի հետ ամուսնանալը նա երկար տարիներ հանդիպել է հայազգի հայտնի հաղորդավարուհի Տատյանա Գեւորգյանի հետ։
Զույգը հինգ տարի ապրել է միասին, նրանք պատրաստվում էին ամուսնանալ, լրատվամիջոցները պնդում էին, որ Տանյան արդեն ընտրել է հարսանեկան զգեստը, սակայն արդյունքում նրանք բաժանվեցին։ Երկար ժամանակ նրանցից ոչ ոք չէր մեկնաբանում իրենց բաժանությունը, մինչեւ որ Տանյա Գեւորգյանը հոգնեց տարբեր խոսակցություններից ու բացատրեց ամեն ինչ։
«Ոչ ես, ոչ Վանյան երբեք մեր հարաբերությունները ոչ ոքի հետ չենք քննարկել, անգամ մեր մտերիմների։ Եւ հիմա ինչ խոսակցություններ ասես պտտվում են, ինչ հեքիաթներ ասես չեն հյուսվում։ ԵԹե Իվանը աշխատանքի մասին հարցազրույց է տալիս, պարտադիր իմ լուսանկարը լինում է այդ հարցազրույցում։ Սուտ պատմություններ են հորինում մեր բաժանման պատճառի մասին․․․
Իրականում բոլորը մեզ իդեալական զույգ էին համարում, ու ոչ ոք չէր պատկերացնում, որ ես ինքնակամ կհեռանամ Իվանից, բայց դա այդպես է։ Այո, ամեն ինչ գեղեցիկ էր, բայց մենք էլ ենք մարդ՝ մեր խնդիրներով, ի վերջո մենք բաժանվեցինք»,- ասել է Տանյան։
