Գերմանիայի կանցլեր Անգելա Մերկելը հայտնել է իր Քրիստոնեա-դեմոկրատական կուսակցության խորհրդարանական խմբակցության ղեկավար Վոլքեր Քաուդերին, որ չի հեռացնում իրեն Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը ճանաչելու մասին Բունդեսթագի բանաձևից: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը` վկայակոչելով Reuters-ը, այս մասին Քաուդերը հայտնել է կուսակցության անդամների հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ:

Հանդիպմանը մասնակցած աղբյուրները հայտնել են, որ Քրիստոնեա-դեմոկրատական կուսակցության խորհրդարանական խմբակցության ղեկավարը տեղեկացրել է, թե իր հետ զրույցում Գերմանիայի կանցլերը հաստատել է իր դիրքորոշումը Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը ճանաչող բանաձևի վերաբերյալ:

Քաուդերը նաև հայտնել է, որ Մերկելն ասել է, թե նախքան Բունդեսթագում բանաձևի քվեարկության դրվելը կուսակցության անդամների հանդիպմանն ինքը կողմ է քվեարկել դրան:

Գերմանական Spiegel պարբերականը հոդված է հրապարակել,որտեղ հայտնել է, որ Գերմանիայի արտաքին գործերինախարարությունն ու կանցլերի գրասենյակը համաձայնության են եկել, որ կառավարության խոսնակ Շթեֆեն Զայբերտը մամուլի առաջ ելույթունենա և հայտարարի, որ կառավարությունն իրեն հեռու է պահում Բունդեսթագի կողմից ընդունված Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը ճանաչողբանաձևից: Մասնավորապես, կառավարության խոսնակը պետք է հայտարարի, որ Բունդեսթագի բանաձևը չունի կառավարությանը պարտադրողբնույթ:

Այս տեղեկությունը հերքել է կառավարության խոսնակ Շթեֆեն Զայբերտը: Վերջինս հայտնել է, որ կառավարությունը չի պատրաստվում հեռացնել իրեն Բունդեսթագի բանաձևից: «Գերմանիայի Բունդեսթագն իրավունք և հնարավորություն ունի մեկնաբանելու ցանկացած թեմայով ամեն անգամ, երբ տեսնում է դրա անհրաժեշտությունը: Դաշնային կառավարությունը պաշտպանում է Գերմանիայի խորհրդարանի սուվերենության իրավունքը»,- ասել է Զայբերտը: Նա հավելել է, որ  դաշնային կառավարությունը չի պատրաստվում միջամտել  ցանկացած այլ սահմանադրական մարմնի պարտականություններին և մեկնաբանել դրանք:
