Asahi գործակալության Մոսկվայի բյուրոյի տնօրեն Ակիոսի Կոմակին վերլուծել է Կրեմլի մամլո ծառայության լուսանկարները ու հանգել այն եզրակացության, որ օգոստոսի վերջին Պուտինը մի քանի օրով անհետացել է հանրային դաշտից։ 

ՌԴ նախագահի ադմինիստրացիայի մամլո ծառայությունը պարբերաբար Կրեմլի պաշտոնական կայքում լուսնակարներ է հրապարակում Պուտինի պաշտոնական հանդիպումներից, որոնցից կարելի է եզրակացնել՝ որտեղ ու երբ է լինում նախագահը ու որ զբաղված է աշխատանքով։ Սակայն երբեմն պատահում են չհամընկումներ։ Արդեն տեղի ունեցած հանդիպումների մասին հրապարակում են տարբեր օրերի՝ դրանք երկարաձգելով։ 

Կոմակին ուշադրություն է դարձրել Պուտինի այն հանդիպումների լուսանկարներին, որոնք տեղի են ունեցել օգոստոսի 18-ին, 22-ին, 23-ին և 24-ին։ Այդ օրերին նա հանդիպել է Մագադանի շրջանի նահանգապետ Վլադիմիր Պեչյոնի հետ, Արխանգելսկի շրջանի նահանգապետ Իգոր Օռլովի հետ, Սվերդլովի շրջանի ղեկավար Եվգենի Կույվաշեվի ու Մոսկվայի նահանգապետ Անդրեյ Վորոբյովի հետ համապատասխանաբար։ 

Բոլոր այս հանդիպումները տեղի են ունեցել մեկ վայրում, բայց, դատելով Կրեմլի կայքից, տարբեր օրերի։ Կոմակին նկատել է, որ որոշ էլեմենտներ լուսանկարներում չեն փոխվում կամ փոխվում են ոչ համապատասխանաբար։

Օրինակ՝ օրինակ օգոստոսի 18-ին, 23-ին ու 24-ին մատիտների դիրքը նույնն է եղել, բայց օգոստոսի 22-ին այն փոխվել է. կորել է նարնջագույն մատիտը։

Նույնատիպ դիտարկումներ ճապոնացին արել է նաև թերթիկի դիրքից ու նաև ՌԴ նախագահի կոշիկի կապիչներից. օգոստոսի 22-ին դրանք ուրիշ էին

Նման եզրակացություն  լրագրողն արել է նաև Վլադիմիր Պուտինի ու Կոմի Հանրապետության ժամանակավոր ղեկավար Սերգեյ Գապլիկովի հետ հանդիպման լուսանկարից։ 

Կոմակիի կարծիքով լուսանկարների դիտարկումները ապացուցում են, որ Պուտինը հանդիպել է վերը թվարկված պաշտոնյաների հետ մեկ օրվա ընթացքում՝ ամենահավանականը օգոստոսի 17-ին կամ ավելի շուտ։ Դրանք բաժանել են 4 օրերի մեջ ու հրապարակել են մինչև օգոստոսի 24-ը ներառյալ, իսկ ուշադրությունը շեղելու համար հանդիպումների արանքում փողկապը փոխել են. այն եղել է՝ սև, բորդո ու սև՝ սպիտակ գծերով։ 

Լրագրողը հայտարարել է, որ ՌԴ նախագահի ադմինիստրացիային բնորոշ է տեղեկատվությունը նման ձև թաքցնելու գործունեությունը ։
