ԱՄՆ կոնգրեսականները կոչ են արել ճանաչել Արցախի անկախությունը

ԱՄՆ Կոնգրեսի Հայկական հարցերով հանձնախումբը շնորհավորական նամակ է ուղարկել Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետության նախագահին Արցախի անկախության 25-րդ տարեդարձի առթիվ: Շնորհավորական նամակը ստորագրել են ԱՄՆ կոնգրեսականներ Ֆրենկ Փալոնեն, Ռոբերտ Դոլդը, Ջեքի Սփայերը, Դեյվիդ Վալադաոն, Ադամ Շիֆը և Դեյվիդ Թրոթը:
«ԱՄՆ Կոնգրեսի Հայկական հարցերով հանձնախմբի անունից մենք գրում ենք շնորհավորելու ձեզ և Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետության ժողովրդին սեպտեմբերի 2-ին անկախության 25-րդ տարեդարձի առթիվ: Այս պատմական օրը կարևոր հիմնաքար է սեփական ինքնորոշման ու անկախության իրավունքը պաշտպանելու Արցախի պայքարում:
Քառորդ դար առաջ Ձեր ժողովուրդը բարձրացրեց իր ձայնը հանուն ազատության և արժանապատվության` հռչակելով ինքնիշխան և անկախ պետություն կառուցելու իր մտադրությունը: Հաղթահարելով խորհրդային համակարգի ճնշումներն ու Ադրբեջանի ռազմական ագրեսիան` 1991 թվականին Հանրապետության հիմնումը դարձավ ազատության, ժողովրդավարության և խաղաղության հիմնարար սկզբունքների վկայությունը:
Չնայած շարունակվող բռնություններին և սպառնալիքներին` տարիների ընթացքում Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետությունը շարունակեց ապացուցել իր հստակ հանձնառությունն այս համամարդկային սկզբունքներին: Մենք ողջունում ենք ձեր ժողովրդին հետևողականորեն ազատ և անկախ ընտրություններ անցկացնելու, ինչպես նաև ժողովրդավարական կառավարման և օրենքի գերակայության հարցում ունեցած ձեր հանձնառության համար:
Մենք շարունակում ենք հավատարիմ մնալ Արցախի տնտեսության և ժողովրդավարության շարունակական զարգացմանը: Մենք նաև դատապարտում ենք Արցախի ժողովրդի դեմ ապրիլի սկզբին Ադրբեջանի վերջին ագրեսիան, որի հետևանքով տուժեցին հարյուրավոր զինվորականներ և քաղաքացիական անձինք: Մենք շարունակում ենք լիահույս մնալ, որ ղարաբաղյան հակամարտությունը կունենա խաղաղ հանգուցալուծում, և գնահատում ենք ձեր անսասան ձգտումը տարածաշրջանում անվտանգության և կայունության հաստատման հարցում:
Մենք կշարունակենք աջակցել Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետությանը և կոչ ենք անում պաշտոնապես ճանաչել Արցախի անկախությունը»:
