Հայաստանն «Օսկար»-ի «Լավագույն օտարալեզու կինոնկար» անվանակարգի համար հայտավորել է «Երկրաշարժ» ֆիլմը

Հայաստանի կինոմատոգրաֆիստների միությունում տեղի ունեցավ Հայկական ազգային կինոակադեմիայի հերթական նիստը: Նիստը նվիրված էր Հայաստանի կողմից Ամերիկյան կինոակադեմիայի ամենամյա «Օսկար» մրցանակաբաշխությանը «Լավագույն օտարալեզու ֆիլմ» անվանակարգում հայկական ֆիլմի առաջադրմանը

Հայկական կինոակադեմիայի անդամների փակ քվեարկության արդյունքում որոշվեց, որ «Օսկարի» կներկայացվի Սարիկ Անդրեասյանի «Երկրաշարժ» ֆիլմը, որը պատմում է 1988-ի դեկտեմբերի 7-ի Սպիտակի աղետալի երկրաշարժի մասին:

Քվեարկությունն անցկացվեց երկու փուլով: Առաջին փուլում 24 կինոակադեմիկոսներից  ութը դեմ քվերակեցին ներկայացված երեք ֆիլմերին,  5 ձայն ստացավ «Երկրաշարժ» ֆիլմը, 3 ձայն՝  Դավիթ Սաֆարյանի «Տաք երկիր, ցուրտ ձմեռ» ֆիլմը, 7-ը ձայն տրվեց Ջիվան Ավետիսյանի «Վերջին բնակիչը» ֆիլմին, գրանցվեց  մեկ անվավեր ձայն: Երկրորդ փուլ անցան Ջիվան Ավետիսյանի և Սարիկ Անդրեասյանի  ֆիլմերը:

Քվեարկության երկրորդ փուլում 24 կինոակադեմիկոսներից 9-ը դեմ քվեարկեցին ներկայաված ֆիլմերին, մյուս 9-ը՝ իրենց ձայնը տվեցին «Երկրաշարժ» ֆիլմին, իսկ 6-ը քվեարկեցին «Վերջին բնակիչը» կինոնկարի օգտին: Արդյունքում կինոակադեմիայի անդամներն ընտրեցին Սարիկ Անդրեասյանի «Երկրաշարժ»-ը:

Ըստ Կինոակադեմիայի նախագահ Հարություն Խաչատրյանի՝ շատ կարևոր է, որ Հայաստանը ֆիլմ ներկայացնի «Օսկարի»  նման հեղինակավոր մրցանակաբաշխությանը: 

«Մենք երեք  ֆիլմի հայտ ենք ստացել: Հայաստանի համար սա աննախադեպ երևույթ է, քանի որ քիչ  կինոնկարներ են նկարահանվում և ներկայացվում»,-նշեց կինոակադեմիայի նախագահը:

Կինոակադեմիկոսների հավաստմամբ՝ հաջորդ տարի հայտ ներկայացնող ֆիլմերի առաջ ավելի մեծ պահանջներ կդրվեն:
