Նախագահը վարչապետ կնշանակի կառավարության հրաժարականի ընդունումից հետո՝ տասնօրյա ժամկետում

ՀՀ Սահմանադրության 55-րդ հոդվածը սահմանում է, որ Հանրապետության Նախագահը վարչապետ է նշանակում կառավարության հրաժարականի ընդունումից հետո՝ տասնօրյա ժամկետում:

Կառավարությունը կազմավորվում է վարչապետի նշանակումից հետո` քսանօրյա ժամկետում:

Հանրապետության Նախագահն ընդունում է կառավարության հրաժարականը նորընտիր Ազգային ժողովի առաջին նիստի, Հանրապետության Նախագահի կողմից իր պաշտոնն ստանձնելու, կառավարությանն անվստահություն հայտնվելու, կառավարության ծրագրին հավանություն չտալու, վարչապետի կողմից հրաժարական ներկայացվելու կամ վարչապետի պաշտոնը թափուր մնալու օրը: Հանրապետության Նախագահի կողմից կառավարության հրաժարականի ընդունումից հետո կառավարության անդամները շարունակում են իրենց պարտականությունների կատարումը մինչեւ նոր կառավարության կազմավորումը:

ՀՀ Սահմանադրության 74-րդ հոդվածն էլ սահմանում է, որ կառավարությունը, կազմավորումից հետո քսանօրյա ժամկետում, Ազգային ժողով է ներկայացնում իր ծրագիրը։

Կառավարության ծրագրին Ազգային ժողովի կողմից հավանություն տալու հարցը քննարկվում է արտահերթ եւ քվեարկության դրվում այն ներկայացվելուց հետո հնգօրյա ժամկետում: Կառավարության ծրագրին հավանություն տալու մասին որոշումն ընդունվում է Ազգային ժողովի պատգամավորների ընդհանուր թվի ձայների մեծամասնությամբ:

«Արմենպրես»-ն ավելի վաղ հաղորդել էր, որ կառավարության նիստի ավարտին Հայաստանի Հանրապետության վարչապետ Հովիկ Աբրահամյանը հայտարարել էր հրաժարական տալու մասին:
