Իրանը հերքել է արաբական երկրների ներքին գործերին միջամտելու մասին Արաբական պետությունների լիգայի ներկայացրած մեղադրանքները։ Irna գործակալության փոխանցմամբ՝ Իրանի ԱԳՆ ներկայացուցիչ Բահրամ Ղասեմին ԱՊԼ գլխավոր քարտուղարի մեղադրանքներն անվանել է հնացած եւ անհիմն։
Նրա խոսքով՝ Սիրիայում շարունակվող ճգնաժամը այդ երկրի ներքին գործերին արտաքին միջամտության հետեւանք է։ «Որոշ պետություններում ահաբեկիչները նախապատրաստություն են անցնում եւ սպառազինություններ ստանում Սիրիայի օրինական կառավարության դեմ պայքարելու համար եւ այդ ամենը ահաբեկչության դեմ պայքարի քողի տակ»,– ասել է նա։
Միաժամանակ իրանցի պաշտոնյան դժգոհել է շիա–սուննիական հարցերում ԱՊԼ գլխավոր քարտուղարի դիրքորոշումից՝ խորհուրդ տալով խուսափել նախորդ ապակառուցողական եւ անիրատեսական դիրքորոշումները կրկնելուց եւ կոչ է արել փորձել լուծումներ գտնել բարդ տարածաշրջանային խնդիրների համար։
