Թենիսի Մեծ սաղավարտի ԱՄՆ-ի բաց առաջնության եզրափակիչում կմրցեն Կարոլինա Պլիսկովան և Անժելիկ Կերբերը

Թենիսի Մեծ սաղավարտի ԱՄՆ-ի բաց առաջնությունում տեղի ունեցան կանանց կիսաեզրափակիչ հանդիպումները: «Արմենպրես»-հայտնում է, որ եզրափակիչում կմրցի Կարոլինա Պլիսկովա- Անժելիկ Կերբեր զույգը:

1-ին կեսաեզրափակիչում աշխարհի առաջին ռակետ Սերենա Ուիլիամսի մրցակիցը Կարոլինա Պլիսկովան էր: Ամերիկուհին ամբողջ խաղի ընթացքում այդպես էլ չկարողացավ գտնել իր ոճը և  2 սեթերի արդյունքում տանուլ տվեց հանդիպումը: Առաջին սեթում պայքար չստացվեց, և Սերենան զիջեց 2-6 հաշվով: 2-րդ սեթում պայքարը հասավ մինչև թայ-բրեյք, որտեղ կրկին հաջողությունը երես էր թեքել տիտղոսակիր մարզուհուց: Արդյունքում Սերենան թայ-բրեյքը տանուլ տվեց 5-7 հաշվով, իսկ սեթը`6-7 հաշվով:

2-րդ կիսաեզրափակիչում հանդիպեցին Կարոլինա Վոզնյացկին ու Անժելիկ Կերբերը: Այստեղ ֆավորիտը միանշանակ գերմանուհին էր: Խաղի ընթացքում Կերբերը թելադրող էր կորտում և կարողացավ 2 սեթում դուրս գալ եզրափակիչ: Խաղն ավարտվեց 4-6, 3-6 հաշվով:

Կիսաեզրափակիչների ավարտից հետո պարզ դարձավ, որ  համաշխարհային թենիսի կանանց դասակարգման աղյուսակում տեղի կունենա փոփոխություն: Գերմանուհի Անժելիկ Կերբերը հաջորդ շաբաթ կգլխավորի WTA-ի վարկանիշային աղյուսակը: Գերմանուհին կանցնի ամերիկուհի Սերենա Ուիլյամսից: 34-ամյա Ուիլյամսը վարկանիշային աղյուսակը գլխավորել է 186 շաբաթ անընդմեջ։

Տղամարդկանց եզրափակիչի համար կպայքարեն Նովակ Ջոկովիչ-Գաել Մոնֆիլս, Ստեն Վավրինկա-Քեի Նիշիկորի զույգերը:
