«Սեպտեմբերի 9-ի «ՉԻ» համարում «Աղվան Հովսեփյանը որպես Հայաստանի դատախազ» վերնագրի ներքո տեղեկացրել էինք, որ ՀՀ քննչական կոմիտեի ղեկավար Աղվան Հովսեփյանը Մինսկում մասնակցում է ԱՊՀ երկրների գլխավոր դատախազների հավաքին։ «Հայաստանից՝ որպես դատախազ, մասնակցել է ՀՀ քննչական կոմիտեի ղեկավարը։ Ծիծաղելի է, չէ՞։ Կասեք՝ Հայաստանն այս պահին պաշտոնապես չունի գլխավոր դատախազ, բայց մյուս կողմից էլ մեր երկիրն ունի գլխավոր դատախազի պարտականությունների ժամանակավոր պաշտոնակատար, որը կարող էր Հայաստանը ներկայացնել դատախազների հավաքին», գրել էր «ՉԻ»– ն։ Երեկ ՀՀ գլխավոր դատախազությունից մեզ տեղեկացրին, որ այդ հավաքին դատախազությունը մասնակցել էր իր բարձրաստիճան ներկայացուցիչներով, իսկ Աղվան Հովսեփյանը որևէ առնչություն չի ունեցել այդ հավաքին։

Զուգահեռաբար երեկ օրվա երկրորդ կեսին արդեն ՀՀ քննչական կոմիտեն հաղորդագրություն տարածեց, որտեղ նշված էր. «Աղվան Հովսեփյանն այսօր (երեկ-խմբ.) Մինսկում մասնակցել էր Բելառուսի և Ռուսաստանի քննչական կոմիտեների նախագահների հետ նախատեսված եռակողմ հանդիպմանը:

Ասել է, թե՝ Աղվան Հովսեփյանը եղել է Մինսկում, բայց մասնակցել է ոչ թե ԱՊՀ երկրների գլխավոր դատախազների հավաքին, այլ քննչական կոմիտեների նախագահների եռակողմ հանդիպմանը»,–գրում է թերթը։
