Սեպտեմբերի 9-ին ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարար Սեյրան Օհանյանը հանդիպել է ապրիլյան մարտական գործողություններին մասնակցած մի շարք կամավորական ջոկատների հրամանատարներին, տեղեկացնում է ՊՆ մամուլի ծառայությունը: 

Ողջունելով հյուրերին ՀՀ ՊՆ վարչական համալիրում` ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարար Սեյրան Օհանյանը մեկ անգամ ընդգծել է, որ անգնահատելի է հայրենիքի պաշտպանության սուրբ գործին կամավոր զինվորագրված հայորդիների դերակատարությունը ինչպես Արցախյան ազատամարտի տարիներին, այնպես էլ ապրիլյան մարտական գործողությունների ընթացքում: 

Կարևորելով կամավորական ջոկատների հրամանատարների, աշխարհազորայինների և մի շարք հայրենասիրական հասարակական կազմակերպությունների հետ համագործակցության շարունակականությունը՝ պաշտպանական գերատեսչության ղեկավարը նշել է, որ անհրաժեշտ է անել ամենայն հնարավորը մարտական գործողությունների մասնակիցների սխրանքն ու հայրենանվեր գործունեությունը մշտապես հասարակությանը ներկայացնելու, երիտասարդ սերնդին նրանց օրինակով ոգեշնչելու և դաստիարակելու համար:

Հանդիպման ընթացքում քննարկվել են հայրենիքի պաշտպանության մարտերին մասնակցած անձանց մարտական գործողությունների մասնակցի կարգավիճակի տրման ընթացակարգի հետ կապված օրենսդրական և իրավական մի շարք հարցեր, անդրադարձ է կատարվել կամավորականների հետ կայացած նախորդ հանդիպումներում բարձրաձայնված խնդրահարույց հարցերին ու հնչեցված առաջարկություններին:
