ԱՄՆ նախագահի դեմոկրատ թեկնածու Հիլարի Քլինթոնը ներողություն է խնդրել իր մրցակից Դոնալդ Թրամփի կողմնակիցների հասցեին արված իր արտահայտությունների համար։ Այս մասին ասված է հայտարարությունում, որը նախկին պետքարտուղարը հրապարակել է իր կայքում։

«Ես կոպտորեն ընդհանրացրի, իսկ դա երբեք լավ գաղափար չէ։ Ես ցավում եմ, որ ասացի «կես», դա ճիշտ չէր»,-ասված է Քլինթոնի հայտարարությունում։ Միաժամանակ, նա ցավալի է համարել փաստը, որ հանրապետական թեկնածուն իր նախընտրական արշավը կառուցում է «ենթադրությունների եւ պարանոյայի» վրա։

Թրամփն իր հերթին Twitter-ի իր միկրոբլոգում գրել է, որ հարգում է Քլինթոնի կողմնակիցներին, թեեւ նրանցից շատերը երբեք չեն քվեարկի իր օգտին։ Նախկին պետքարտուղարը իր մրցակցին բանավեճ է առաջարկել եւ պատասխանել. «Բացի աֆրոամերիկացիներից, մահմեդականներից, լատինամերիկացիներից, ներգաղթյալներից, կանանցից, վետերաններից, այսպես կոչված «անհաջողակներից» եւ «հիմարներից»։ Այս կատեգորիայի քաղաքացիների հասցեին Թրամփը բազմիցս կտրուկ արտահայտություններ է թույլ տվել։

Հիշեցնենք, որ սեպտեմբերի 9-ին Նյու Յորքում իր ելույթի ընթացքում Քլինթոնը հայտարարել էր. «Թրամփի կողմնակիցների կեսին կարելի է ներառել խղճահրության արժանի մարդկանց թվին։ Դրանք ռասիստներ, սեքսիստներ, հոմոֆոբներ, քսենոֆոբներ ու իսլամաֆոբներ», հաղորդում է CNN-ը։

 ԱՄՆ նախագահաի ընտրությունները տեղի են ունենալու այս տարվո նոյեմբերի 8-ին։ Նախընտրական հարցումների RealClearPolitics ագրեգատորի տվյալներով, սեպտեմբերի 9-ի դրությամբ Քլինթոնն իր մրցակցից առաջ է անցել 2,7 տոկոսով։
