Ճի՞շտ է, որ մսակերներից եւ բուսակերներից տարբեր հոտ է գալիս

Արդյոք ճիշտ է, որ կանոնավոր կերպով միս օգտագործողներից եւ բուսակերներից տարբեր հոտ է գալիս: Արդյոք միսը փոխում է մարդու հոտը: Շատ գիտնականներ ցանկացել են պատասխաններ գտնել այդ հարցերին եւ մի շարք հետաքրքիր հետազոտություններ են կատարել:
Հետաքրքիր փորձարկման շրջանակում Չեխիայի գիտնականները 17 տղամարդու են հրավիրել եւ նրանց երկու խմբի են բաժանել. մի խումբը երկու շաբաթվա ընթացքում ամեն օր մսի նույն քանակությունն է կերել, իսկ մյուսը նույն ժամանակահատվածում հրաժարվել է մսի օգտագործումից: 14 օր անց գիտնականները բամբակի օգնությամբ այդ տղամարդկանցից հոտի նմուշներ են հավաքել, հետո 30 կնոջ առաջարկել են գնահատել այդ հոտերը: Կանայք պետք է ուշադրություն դարձնեին հոտի ինտենսիվությանը եւ գրավչությանը: Մեկ ամիս անց մսակերների եւ բուսակերների խմբերը իրենց տեղերը փոխել են, իսկ կանայք դարձյալ ստիպված են եղել հոտերի եւս մի չափաբաժին գնահատել:
Բոլոր դեպքերում կանայք ավելի գրավիչ են համարել այն տղամարդկանց, որոնք միս չէին կերել. այդ հոտերը պակաս ինտենսիվ են եղել, բայց միաժամանակ` ավելի տղամարդկային, քան նրանց հոտերը, ովքեր միս էին կերել:
Հեղինակները ենթադրել են, որ հոտը մեծ մասամբ կախված է կարմիր մսի մեջ պարունակվող ճարպից: Այդ հիպոթեզը զուրկ չէ տրամաբանությունից. իրոք քրտինքի, մեզի եւ սերմնահեղուկի հոտը կախված է նրանից, թե մարդն ինչ է ուտում: Հենց այդ պատճառով մսակերներից այլ հոտ է գալիս, քան բուսակերներից: Իմիջիայլոց, գուցե հենց այդ պատճառով է, որ որոշ տվյալների համաձայն, բուսակեր կանայք նախընտրում են հանդիպել նրանց հետ, ովքեր միս չեն ուտում:
Նոր Զելանդիայից գիտնականների 2007 թվականին իրականացրած հետազոտության արդյունքները եւս ցույց են տվել, որ որոշ կանանց տհաճ է եղել միս օգտագործող տղամարդկանց հոտը: Այդ պատճառով նրանք նախընտրել են հանդիպել բուսակերների, ոչ թե մսակերների հետ: Գիտնականները ենթադրել են, որ կանայք ուղղակի փնտրում են նրան, ով նույն համոզմունքներն ունի, ինչ իրենք, բայց երեւում է` միս սիրողները նրանց համար ուղղակի տհաճ են եղել հոտի պատճառով:
