Նյու Յորքում Նորաձեւության շաբաթը շարունակվում է, բայց Քարդաշյան- Ջեններ գերդաստանից ուշադրությունը շեղել ու բացառապես նորաձեւության ցուցադրությունների վրա կենտրոնանալ չի հաջողվում, քանի որ քաղաքում կատարվող բոլոր իրադարձությունների կենտրոնում հենց այդ հանրահայտ ընտանիքն է:

«Ես ինքս ինձ խոստացել էի, որ զուսպ կլինեմ ու չեմ մեկնաբանի ոչինչ, բայց այլեւս չեմ կարող ինձ զսպել: Կարեւոր չէ՝ ինչ են նրանք գրում, ես փորձեցի հասկանալ այդ հոդվածներն ու այն հիմարությունները, որ գրում են քննադատները: Անկեղծորեն փորձեցի նրանց հասկանալ, բայց չկարողացա:

Որպես պատասխան նրանք միայն միջնամատի են արժանի:

Ես չեմ կարող ուշադրություն դարձնել հիմարների ու լուզերների վրա, որոնք ոչինչ չեն հասկանում արվեստում ու դեռ մնացել են նորաձեւության այն ընկալման վրա, որն արդեն ոչ մեկին չի հետաքրքրում»,- իր զգացմունքային ելույթում ասել է Քանյեն:
