Քեյթ Ռայթերն իր օրը սկսում էր էներգետիկ ըմպելիքով և շոկոլադով։ Բացի այդ նա օրվա ընթացքում ուտում էր ֆասթֆուդ և անառողջ սնունդ, ինչի արդյունքում դառնել էր 120 կգ։
Ռեյթերի խոսքով՝ ավելորդ կիլոգրամները սկզբում իրեն չէին խանգարում, սակայն ճարպակալումը սկսեց բացասական ազդեցություն թողնել երիտասարդ կնոջ վրա։ Հենց այս ժամանակ էլ նա հանդիպում է իր ներկայիս նշանածին՝ Նիկին։ Քեյթը սկսեց գիտակցել, որ պետք է փոխել իր կյանքը։ Նա սկսեց հետևել՝ ինչ է ուտում։ Աղջկա առօրյայի անբաժան մասն է դառնում սպորտը, ինչի հետևանքով նա սկսում է արագ քաշ կորցնել։
-Երբ ես Նիկին հանդիպեցի, կշռում էի 80 կգ։ Նա սիրում էր ինձ՝ անկախ իմ հագուստի չափից և նրա կողքին ոչ մի բանի համար չէի անհանգստանում»,-հիշում է Ռայթերը։
Բայց առողջության հետ կապված խնդիրները ստիպեցին աղջկան վերանայել իր կյանքը։
