ԱՄՆ-ի պետքարտուղար Ջոն Քերին, սեպտեմբերի 12-ին Վաշինգտոնում ելույթ ունենալով լրագրողների առջեւ, պատմել Է Սիրիայում վերսկսված հրադադարի հեռանկարների մասին: Նա հորդորել Է բոլոր կողմերին՝ պահպանել  զինադադարը եւ ասել Է, թե դա, հնարավոր Է՝ Սիրիայում քաղաքական գործընթացն սկսելու վերջին հնարավորությունն Է:

Սեպտեմբերի 12-ին ուժի մեջ Է մտել ռուս-ամերիկյան պայմանավորվածությունների փաթեթը, որոնք համաձայնեցվել են մի շարք խորհրդակցությունների արդյունքում: Զինադադարը պետք Է տեւի 48 ժամ, իսկ այնուհետեւ եւս 5 օր: Դրանից հետո պրակտիկ գործունեությունը կսկսի Համատեղ գործադիր կենտրոնը, որի շրջանակներում Ռուսաստանի ե ԱՄՆ-ի զինվորականները կկորդինացնեն հարվածները «Ջեբհաթ ան Նուսրա», ԻՊ եւ ահաբեկիչների այլ խմբավորումների դիրքերին համաձայնեցված շրջաններում, որտեղ կդադարեցվեն սիրական օդուժի գործողությունները:

«Այսօր ես կրկնում եմ բոլոր կողմերին ուղղված կոչը՝ պահպանել կրակի դադարեցման ռեժիմը: Դա շանս Է Սիրիայի, բոլոր այն մարդկանց համար համար, ովքեր գտվում են պաշարման մեջ: Դա ՄԱԿ-ի հովանու ներքո քաղաքական դիվանագիտական գործընթաց սկսելու հնարավորություն Է»,- ասել Է ԱՄՆ-ի պետքարտուղարը:  

Ինչպես եւ առաջ՝ այս տարվա գարնանը հայտարարված սկզբնական հրադադարի դեպքում, Քերին նախազգուշացրել Է, որ ներկա հնարավորությունը կարող Է վերջինը լինել: «Ես հորոդորում եմ բոլոր կողմերին պաշտպանել այս պլանը, որովհետեւ, հարավոր Է՝ սա միասնական Սիրիան փրկելու վերջին շանսն Է»,- հավելել Է Քերին, հաղորդել Է ՌԻԱ Նովոստին:
