Լոնդոնում հրապարակել են Բուքերյան մրցանակի համառոտ ցանկը

Լոնդոնում հրապարակվել Է հեղինակավոր Բուքերյան մրցանակի (Man Booker Prize) «համառոտ ցանկը», որը շնորհվում Է անգլերեն հրատարակող գրականության բնագավառում: Դրանում տեղ են գտել վեց հեղինակներ ընդարձակ ցանկից, որը բաղկացած Է երեսուն անվանակարգորդ գրողներից, տեղեկացնում Է«Արմենպրես»-ը:
Հեղինակավոր պարգեւի, որի դափնեկրի անունը կհրապարակվի հոկտեմբերի 25-ին, եւ հասանելիք մրցանակի համար՝ 50 հազար ֆունտ ստեռլինգի (65,6 հազար դոլարի) չափով, կպայքարեն բրիտանացի կին գրող Դեբորա Լեւին ՝ «Տաք կաթ»(Hot milk) գրքով եւ նրա հայրենակից Գրեմ Մաքրի Բառնետը՝ «Նրա արյունալի ծրագիրը» (His Bloody Project) ստեղծագործությամբ:
Ամերիկացի գրող Փոլ Բիթին ցուցակ Է մտել իր «Սպառավաճառք» (The Sellout) վեպով: Միացյալ Նահանգների մյուս ներկայացուցիչը՝ Օթեսա Մոշֆեյգը՝ «Էյլին» (Eileen) գրքով: Ցանկ են մտել նաեւ Դեւիդ Սզալին, որն ունի բրիտանական եւ կանադական քաղաքացիություն՝ «Մարդու ամբողջ Էությունը» (All That Man Is) գրքով եւ կանադուհի Մադլեն Թիենը «Մի ասա, որ մենք ոչինչ չունենք»(Do Not Say We Have Nothing) վեպով:
Առաջին անգամ պարգեւի հանձնումը կայացել Է 1969 թվականին: Մինչեւ 2013 թվականը Բուքերյան մրցանակը շնորհվում Էր Ազգերի համագործակցության երկրներից մեկում, Իռլանդիայում կամ Զիմբաբվեում բնակվող հեղինակի: Սակայն այնուհետեւ դրա ժյուրին թույլ Է տվել մրցանակին հավակնել աշխարհի այլ երկրների գրողների՝ անգլերեն գրված եւ Միացյալ Թագավորությունում հրատարակված ստեղծագործության համար:
Տարբեր տարիների պարգեւի դափնեկիրներ են եղել այնպիսի հեղինակներ, ինչպիսիք են Սալման Ռուշդին, Բեն Օքրին, Քինգսլի Էմիսը, Ռոդի Դոյլը, Այրիս Մերդոքը: Այն կրկնակի ստացել են Ջոն Քութզեեն, Փիթեր Քերին եւ Հիլարի Մանթելը:
Պարգեւի արժանացած չորս գրողներ՝ Ուիլյամ Գոլդինգը, Նադին Գորդիմերը, Վիդիադհար Նայփոլը եւ Ջոն Քութզեեն, ավելի ուշ դարձել են գրականության գծով Նոբելյան մրցանակի դանեկիրներ, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
