Նյու Յորքում աշխատանքն սկսեց ՄԱԿ-ի Գլխավոր ասամբլեայի 71-րդ նստաշրջանը

Նյու Յորքում սեպտեմբերի 12-ին աշխատանքն Է սկսել ՄԱԿ-ի Գլխավոր ասամբլեայի 71-րդ նստաշրջանը: Այն բացել Է ԳԱ-ի նախագահ Փիթեր Թոմսոնը, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը:
Առաջին նիստի ընթացքում, որը մեկ ժամից պակաս Է տեւել, ընդունվել են մի շարք արարողակարգային որոշումներ, որոնք, մասնավորապես, վերաբերում են ԳԱ-ի կոմիտեների կազմին ու աշխատանքի կազմակերպմանը:
Դրանից առաջ ՄԱԿ-ի կենտրոնակայանում պաշտոնապես փակվել Է Գլխավոր ասբամբլեայի հոբելյանական, 70-րդ նստաշրջանը, որին մասնակցել Է համաշխարհային կազմակերպության գլխավոր քարտուղար Պան Գի Մունը: Նա գովեստի խոսքեր Է ասել ԳԱ-ի անդամ երկրների հասցեին, նշելով վերջին մեկ տարվա ընթացքում ընդունված կարեւոր որոշումները: Գլխավոր քարտուղարը, մասնավորապես, հիշեցրել Է անցյալ տարվա սեպտեմբերին մինչեւ 2030 թվականը գլոբալ զարգացման ծրագրի հաստատման մասին, որը պայքար Է նախատեսում աղքատության, սովի, հիվանդությունների եւ սոցիալական անհավասարության դեմ:
Ընդամենը Գլխավոր ասամբլեայի 71-րդ նստաշրջանի օրակարգում տեղ Է գտել 170 թեմա, այդ թվում՝ խաղաղության եւ անվտանգության պահպանման, ահաբեկչությանը, ռասսայական խտրականությանը եւ այլատեցությանը հակազդման, շրջակա միջավայրի պահպանության եւ մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանության հարցերը: Նաեւ կշարունակվի ՄԱԿ-ի, այդ թվում՝ Անվտանգության խորհրդի բարեփոխման քննարկումը:
Նստաշրջանի օրացույցի առաջին խոշոր իրադարձությունը կդառնա զանգվածային գաղթի խնդիրների շուրջ բարձր մակարդակի նիստը, որը տեղի կունենա սեպտեմբերի 19-ին: Գլխավոր ասամբլեայի հարթակում նման հանդիպում առաջին անգամ Է անցկացվում, դրա անհրաժեշտությունը թելադրված Է Եվրոպայում եւ աշխարհի այլ մասերում տրող իրադրությամբ:
Սեպտեմբերի 20-ին Նյու Յորքում ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահ Բարաք Օբամայի նախագահությամբ կկայանա երկրների ղեկավարների գագաթնաժողովը՝ նվիրված փախստականնների հարցերին: Հանդիպմանը երկրներին կառաջարվի ստանձնել փախստականների ընդունման նոր պարտավորություններ:
Նույն օրը ՄԱԿ-ի կենտրոնակայանում կսկսվի ընդհանուր քաղաքական բանավեճը, որին կմասնակցեն պետությունների ու կառավարությունների շուրջ 150 ղեկավարներ, ինչպես նաեւ արտաքին գործերի 30-ից ավելի նախարարներ: Մեկ շաբաթվա ընթացքում նրանք կարծիքներ կփոխանակեն աշխարհի ընթացիկ իրադրության շուրջ՝ ուշադրությունը դարձնելովմարդկության առջեւ ծառացած հիմնական մարտահրավերների վրա:
