Պաշտպանության նախարար Սեյրան Օհանյանը այսօր լրագրողների հետ զրույցում անդրադարձավ սահմանային լարվածությանը՝ նշելով, որ իրավիճակը վերահսկվում է:

«Վերջին շաբաթների ընթացքում իսկապես, հակառակորդի կողմից կրակոցների թիվը մեկ ավելանում, մեկ` պակասում է: Այս վերջին ժամանակահատվածում հակառակորդը կրակում է և ՀՀ սահմաններում, և Արցախի շփման գծում ականանետներից, իհարկե, մենք ապահովել ենք բոլոր միջոցառումների անցկացումն առաջին գծում` և անվտանգության խնդիրները, և հետևել հակառակորդին, և համապատասխան կանխարգելիչ միջոցառումներ իրականացնելը»,-ասաց նախարարը։

Սեյրան Օհանյանը նշեց, որ հակառակորդի կողմից մի քանի հետախուզադիվերսիոն գործողությունների փորձեր են արվել, սակայն հաջողությամբ կանխվել են հայկական ստորաբաժանումների կողմից:

«Իրավիճակը վերահսկվում է. մեր ժողովուրդը կարող է հանգիստ լինել, որ հայկական բանակը, ինչպես միշտ, այնպես էլ այսօր խնդիրերին տիրապետում է»,– ասաց նախարարը՝ ավելացնելով, որ բանակը լավագույն կերպով է կատարում իր գործը։

Հարցին, թե ինչ ակնկալիքներ ունի նախարարը Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի նախագահների՝ առաջիկայում նախատեսված հանդիպումից, որի մասին խոսել է ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի ամերիկյան համանախագահ Ջեյմս Ուորլիքը, Սեյրան Օհանյանը պատասխանեց, որ «բանակցային գործընթացի շրջանակներում յուրաքանչյուր հանդիպման շնորհիվ ակնկալվում է գոնե տվյալ պահի համար զերծ մնալ բոլոր տիպի կրակոցներից, ոտնձգություններից, խախտումներից»։

«Եվ, իհարկե, նախադրյալներ ստեղծել հետագայում, բանակցային գործընթացում մեր տեսակետից ելնելով, որոնք որ համապատասխանում են միջազգային նորմերին` առանց ուժի կիրառման, ժողովուրդների ինքնորոշումը հաշվի առնելով, երկխոսության, առաջին գծում վստահության երաշխավորման. փոխադարձ համաձայնության շրջանակներում մեր հարցն առաջ տանել, ընդ որում հաշվի առնել նաև ռազմական փորձագիտության խնդիրները»,-ասաց նա:
Իսկ լարվածություն հրահրելը Ադրբեջանի կողմից ըստ նախարարի՝ որևէ  նոր մեթոդով պայմանավորված չէ: «Իրենց քաղաքականությունը միջազգային  հանրության  հետ առնչվելու շրջանակներում և նաև ներքին խնդիրներից ժողովրդին շեղելու համար իրականացնում են»,-ասաց նա:
