Մայան ծնվել է 1984թ. սեպտեմբերի 14-ին, Երևանում: 2001թ. ավարտել է Երևանի Ն.Աղբալյանի անվան թիվ 19 միջնակարգ դպրոցը:

Դպրոցական տարիներին սովորել է Երևանի թիվ 10 երաժշտական դպրոցի կիթառի և դաշնամուրի բաժիններում:

Ավարտել է Երևանի Վ.Բրյուսովի անվան պետական լեզվաբանական համալսարանի օտար լեզուներ և հոգեբանություն բաժնում` ավարտելով մագիստրատուրան:

Ավարտել է նաև հաղորդավարության երկամյա դասընթացներ Սուսաննա Ալեքսանյանի մոտ և Երևանի Գործնական հոգեբանության և սոցիոլագիայի Ուրարտու համալսարանի մագիստրատուրան:

2006թ-ից աշխատել է «Էլ Հոլդինգ» ընկերությունում` որպես հատուկ ծրագրերի ղեկավար:
