Ամերիկյան NBC հեռուստաալիքով The Tonight Show ծրագրի հաղորդավար Ջիմմի Ֆելլոնը ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահի թեկնածու Հիլարի Քլինթոնին ստուդիայում ողջունել է վիրաբուժական դիմակ հագնելով:
Քլինթոնը գնահատել է հաղորդավարի կատակը եւ նրան է մեկնել ձեռքը, ինչից հետո Ֆելլոնն անմիջապես «մանրէազերծել» է ձեռքը, հայտնում է բրիտանական The Daily Mail թերթը:
Ավելի վաղ քաղաքական գործչի բուժող բժիշկ Լիզա Բերդակը հայտնել էր, որ Հիլարի Քլինթոնը թոքաբորբից բուժման կուրս է անցել:
Դեմոկրատական կուսակցությունից թեկնածուի առողջության հանդեպ մեծ ուշադրություն է սեւեռվել 2001 թվականի սեպտեմբերի 11-ի ողբերգության զոհերի հիշատակի արարողություններից մեկի ընթացքում տեղի ունեցած պատահարից հետո: Արարողությանը Քլինթոնն իրեն վատ է զգացել, նրա շտաբի տեղեկությունների համաձայն, քաղաքական գործիչը «ջերմություն է ունեցել» եւ նրա օրգանիզմը ջրազրկվել է:
