Թեհրանում սեպտեմբերի 18-ին կայացան ՀՀ և ԻԻՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարությունների միջև քաղաքական խորհրդակցություններ: Հայկական պատվիրակությունը գլխավորում էր ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարի տեղակալ Շավարշ Քոչարյանը, իրանականը՝ ԻԻՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարի Ասիայի, Օվկիանիայի և ԱՊՀ հարցերով տեղակալ Էբրահիմ Ռահիմփուրը: Այս մասին«Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության մամուլի, տեղեկավության և հասարակայնության հետ կապի վարչությունից:
Քննարկվեցին հայ-իրանական հարաբերությունների հետագա զարգացմանն ուղղված հարցերի լայն շրջանակ:
Կողմերն ընդգծեցին տարածաշրջանում անվտանգության և կայունության պահպանման անհրաժեշտությունը:
Հատուկ ուշադրություն դարձվեց երկկողմ և բազմակողմ տնտեսական ծրագրերի իրականացման խնդիրներին: Քննարկվեցին իրավապայմանագրային, մշակութային և հումանիտար ոլորտներում, ինչպես նաև միջազգային կազմակերպությունների շրջանակներում համագործակցությանն առնչվող հարցեր:
ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարի տեղակալ Շավարշ Քոչարյանը հանդիպեց նաև Իրանի արտաքին գործերի նախարարի առաջին տեղակալ Մորթեզա Սարմադիի հետ: Հանդիպման ընթացքում ամփոփվեցին երկկողմ հետաքրքրություն ներկայացնող հարցերի շուրջ քննարկումները և նախանշվեցին հետագա անելիքները:
