ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարի պաշտոնակատար Սեյրան Օհանյանը սեպտեմբերի 20-ին ընդունել է ԱՄՆ Կանզաս նահանգի ադյուտանտ-գեներալ, ազգային գվարդիայի հրամանատար, գեներալ-մայոր Լի Թաֆանելիին և Եվրոպայում ԱՄՆ ցամաքային զորքերի հրամանատարի տեղակալ, գեներալ-մայոր Ջոն Գրոնսկիին: Այս մասին«Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարության տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարությունից:
Կողմերը բարձր են գնահատել ՀՀ զինված ուժերի և Կանզասի ազգային գվարդիայի, Եվրոպայում ԱՄՆ ցամաքային զորքերի հետ համագործակցության մակարդակը, ընդգծելով որ բարձրաստիճան փոխայցելությունները, ներկայումս Հայաստանում գտնվող ԱՄՆ ԶՈՒ տարբեր փորձագիտական խմբերի առկայությունը ևս մեկ վկայություն են ակտիվ և արդյունավետ համագործակցության ու փոխադարձ վստահության: ՀՀ զինված ուժերի և Կանզասի ազգային գվարդիայի, Եվրոպայում ԱՄՆ ցամաքային զորքերի հետ համագործակցությունը ներառում է բազմաթիվ ուղղություններ` ՄԱԿ-ի հովանու ներքո խաղաղապահություն, միջ ազգային առաքելությունների համար ինքնաշեն պայթուցիկ սարքեր հայտնաբերող և վնասազերծող անձնակազմի պատրաստում, 2-րդ մակարդակի բուժօգնություն ապահովող դաշտային հոսպիտալի կարողությունների զարգացում և միջազգային հավաստագրում, արհեստավարժ սերժանտական կազմի ձևավորում, բազմազգ համատեղ զորավարժություններ և այլն:
ԱՄՆ զինված ուժերի բարձրաստիճան պատվիրակությունը վաղը մասնակցելու է ՀՀ անկախության 25-րդ տարեդարձին նվիրված տոնակատարություններին: Նախատեսվում են նաև պատվիրակության այցերը ԱՄՆ ԶՈՒ փորձագիտական խմբերի օժանդակությամբ անցկացվող ինքնաշեն պայթուցիկ սարքերի հայտնաբերման և վնասազերծման դասընթացի, ինչպես նաև ՀՀ ԶՈՒ նորաստեղծ ռազմաբժշկական ուսումնական կենտրոնի հրահանգիչների վերապատրաստման դասընթացի անցկացման վայրեր:
