ԱՄՆ-ի Հյուսիսային Կարոլինայի նահանգապետ Փատրիկ Մակքրորին հայտարարել Է անկարգությունների ասպարեզ դարձած Շառլոտ քաղաքում արտակարգ դրության ռեժիմ սահմանելու մասին, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը:
«Նահանգապետ Փետ Մակքրորին արտակարգ դրության ռեժիմ Է սահմանել Շառլոտ Մեքլենբուրգի ոստիկանության պետ Քեր Փաթնիի պահանջով: Նահանգապետը նաեւ կարգադրել Է (Շառլոտ) ուղարկել Հյուսիսային Կարոլինայի ազգային գվարդիա եւ ճանապարհապարեկային ծառայության ուժեր՝ տեղի իրավապահ մարմիններին օգնություն ցույց տալու համար»,- ասված Է նահանգապետի հայտարարության մեջ, որը հրապարակվել Է պաշտոնական կայքում:
Սեպտեմբերի 21-ին քաղաքում վերսկսվել են նախօրյակին սկիզբ առած բողոքները: Ինչպես նշել Է Charlotte Observer տեղական թերթը, սկզբում մի քանի հարյուր մարդկանց մասնակցությամբ ակցիան խաղաղ բնույթ Էր կրում, բայց այնուհետեւ վերածվել Է քաոսի: Զանգվածային լրատվամիջոցների տվյալներով՝ ոստիկանությունը ցուցարարներին ցրելու համար օգտագործել Է արցունքաբեր գազ: Ցուցարարներից մեկը մահացու հրազենային վերք Է ստացել: Ինչպես նշում են քաղաքային իշխանության ներկայացուցիչները, տղամարդը, որի անունը չի հայտնվում, սպանվել Է մի այլ քաղաքացիական, ոստիկանությունում չծա ռայող, անձի կողմից, հաղորդել Է ՌԻԱ Նովոստին:
