ԱՄՆ-ը եւ Ռուսաստանը չեն կարողացել համաձայնության գալ Սիրիայում հրադադարի վերականգնման շուրջ, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով BBC-ին:
«Մենք չենք կարող դուրս գալ ու ասել ամբողջ աշխարհին, որ մենք համաձայնության ենք եկել, եթե դա այդպես չԷ»,- Պետդեպարտամենտի ղեկավարի խոսքը մեջբերել Է «Ասոշիեյթեդ պրես» գործակալությունը:
Հանդիպմանը նաեւ մասնակցել են Ռուսաստանի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովը եւ բարձրաստիճան դիվանագետներ ԵՄ-ից ու Մերձավոր Արեւելքից:
Սիրիայի խնդրով ՄԱԿ-ի հատուկ ներկայացուցիչ Ստաֆան դե Միստուրան Նյու Յորքում կայացած բանակցությունները բնութագրել Է որպես «երկարատեւ, հիվանդագին ու հիասթափեցնող»: Նրա խոսքով՝ առաջիկա ժամերն ու օրերը խիստ կարեւոր կլինեն խաղաղ գործընթացի համար:
Քերին ասել Է, թե վստահության վերականգնման համար անհրաժեշտ Է, որ նրանք, ովքեր օդում շարունակում են մարտական գործողությունները, դադարեն այդ անել: Լավրովը հայտարարել Է, որ ընդդիմությունը նույնպես պետք Է դադարեցնի ռազմական գործողությունները:
