Freedom House-ը դատապարտել է Ադրբեջանում ալիևյան վարչակարգի իրավախախտումները

Միջազգային իրավապաշտպան Freedom House կազմակերպությունը պատասխանել է Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևի կողմից իր հասցեին հնչեցված մեղադրանքներին: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, պատասխան խոսքով է հանդես եկել կազմակերպության նախագահ Դ ենիել Կալինգաերտը:
«Նախագահ Ալիևն այն անձն է, ով պատասխանատու է վերջին տասնամյակում Ադրբեջանում մարդու իրավունքների վատթարացման համար, այդ թվում և քաղաքացիական հասարակության ակտիվիստների չհիմնավորված ձերբակալությունների և քաղաքական տարակարծությունը լռեցնելու ջանքերի համար: Ալիևն իշխանության ղեկին է մնացել ամոթալի ընտրությունների շնորհիվ, մինչ նրա ընտանիքը հարստացնում էր իրեն: Freedom House-ը շարունակելու է աշխատանքը` ուշադրություն հրավիրելով նրա կառավարության խախտումների նկատմամբ»,- ասել է Կալինգաերտը:
Ալիևը սեպտեմբերի 20-ին արած հայտարարության մեջ քննադատել էր Եվրախորհրդարանը, ԵԱՀԿ-ն և Freedom House-ը Ադրբեջանում խնդրահարույց ընտրությունները և մարդու հիմնարար իրավունքների ոտնահարումները դատապարտելու համար:
Ադրբեջանը «Ազատություն աշխարհում-2016» և «Մամուլի ազատություն-2016» ցուցանիշներում դասվել է ոչ ազատ երկրների շարքը, իսկ «Ազատություն համացանցում-2015» ինդեքսում համարվել է մասնակի ազատ:
