Թրամփի հյուրանոցների ցանցը տուգանք կվճարի հյուրերի տվյալներին անփույթ վերաբերվելու համար

ԱՄՆ նախագահի հանրապետական թեկնածու Դոնալդ Թրամփի յոթ հյուրանոցների աշխատակազմը համաձայնել է 50 հազար դոլարի չափով տուգանք վճարել այն բանի համար, որ անփույթ է վերաբերվել հյուրերի անձնական տվյալների անվտանգությանը: Այս մասին սեպտեմբերի 24-ին գրել է The New York Times թերթը:
Տուգանքը վճարելուց բացի հյուրանոցների ղեկավարությունը զգալի փոփոխություններ կանի իր անվտանգության քաղաքականության մեջ:
Սեպտեմբերի 23-ին Նյու Յորքի գլխավոր դատախազ Էրիկ Շնեյդերմանի մամուլի ծառայությունը տարածել է հաղորդագրություն, որում ասվում է, որ 2015-ին անցկացվել է բանկային քարտերով խաբեությունների մի շարք դեպքերի ստուգումներ, որոք ցույց են տվել որ դրանք արգելաբացվել էին Թրամփի հյուրանոցներում գործածվելուց հետո: Վերահսկիչ գերատեսչությունում համարել են, որ դա վկայում է հյուրանոցների ցանցի անվտանգության համակարգում առկա թերացումների մասին
Հետագա հարցաքննությունը բացահայտել է, որ մի քանի հյուրանոցներում վնասակար ծրագրային ապահովում է եղել գործարկված: Նաեւ պարզվել է, որ 2014-ին չարագործը փորձել է գողանալ հաճախորդների անձնական տվյալները: Դրա հետեւանքով վտանգվել են 70 հազար համարների բնակիչների վարկային քարտերի տվյալներն ու այլ անձնական տեղեկությունները:
Թրամփի հինգաստղանի մի շարք հյուրանոցներում, այդ թվում Նյու Յորքում, Չիկագոյում, Լաս Վեգասում ու Հավայիում արդեն 2015-ի հուլիսին գիտեին իրենց հյուրերի տվյալների գողության հնարավոր սպառնալիքի մասին, վստահեցնում է պարբերականը, սակայն գրեթե չորս ամիս թաքցրել են դա իրենց հաճախորդներից, դրանով, ըստ գլխաոր դատախազի, խախտելով օրենքը:
Օգոստոսի կեսերին հայտնի է դարձել, որ հաքերները փորձել են կոտրել Դոնալդ Թրամփի ընտրական շտաբի համակարգիչները: Վնասակար բովանդակությամբ նամակներ են ուղարկվել աշխատակցի առնվազն մեկ էլեկտրոնային հասցեից: Ընդ որում կիբերհանցագործներին դեռ 2015-ին է հաջողվել կոտրել Թրամփի աշխատակցի փոստն ու այն վարակել վիրուսով:
