Զիմբաբվեի նախագահ Ռոբերտ Մուգաբեն սպառնացել է, որ Աֆրիկայի երկրները դուրս կգան ՄԱԿ-ի կազմից, եթե չանցկացվի Անվտանգության խորհրդի շտապ բարեփոխում, որը կընդլայնի մայրցամաքի երկրների ներկայացուցչությունն ու իրավունքները, հայտնում է News24 գործակալությունը:
ՄԱԿ ԳՎ-ից վերադառնալուց հետո մայրցամաքի ամենատարեց առաջնորդը նախազգուշացրել է,որ աֆրիկյան երկրնեը կարող են իրե՛նց կազմակերպությունը ստեղծել Ռուսաստանի, Չինաստանի, Հնդկաստանի ու այլ պետությունների հետ՝ ի հակակշիռ ԱԽ-ում գերիշխող Արեւմուտքի:
«ԱԽ ոչ բոլոր մշտական անդամներն են կոշտ դիրքորոշում զբաղեցնում: Այդպես են անում Մեծ Բրիտանիան, Ֆրանսիան ու Ամերիկան: Եթե նրանք համառեն, ապա թող հետո չդժգոհեն, երբ մենք մեր սեփական կազմակերպությունը ստեղծենք: Մենք մտադիր ենք դա անել հաջորդ սեպտեմբերին (ՄԱԿ հերթական ԳՎ-ին)»,- հայտնել է 92-ամյա Մուգաբեն, որը հայտնի է Արեւմուտքի հանդեպ իր քննադատական վերաբերմունքով:
Նա շեշտել է, որ աֆրիկյան առաջնորդները քննարկել են ՄԱԿ-ից դուրս գալու հնարավորությունը Նյու Յորքում ավարտվող ԳՎ շրջանակում: 2005-ից սկսած՝ մայրցամաքի երկրները պահանջում են ԱԽ-ում մշտական անդամի երկու տեղ տրամադրել իրենց: Մուգաբեն ՄԱԿ-ից դուրս գալու սպառնալիքը առաջին անգամ բարձրաձայնել էր անցած տարի ՀԱՀ կատարած այցելության ժամանակ:
