 Հնդկաստանն ութ արբանյակ Է դուրս բերել երկրամերձ ուղեծիր: PSLV կրող հրթիռի մեկնարկը տեղական ժամանակով ժամը 09:12-ին տրվել Է Անդհրա-Փրադեշի նահանգի Շրիհարիքոթ տիեզերակայանից, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով NDTV-ին:

Ուղեծիր դուրս բերված արբանյակներից երեքը պատկանում են Հնդկաստանին, երեքը՝ Ալժիրին, մեկական Կանադային եւ ԱՄՆ-ին:

Արձակման առանձնահատկությունն այն Է, որ արբանյակները դուրս են բերվել տարբեր բարձրության երկու ուղեծրեր. SCATSAT հնդկական օդերեւութաբանական արբանյակն աշխատելու Է 730 կիլոմետր բարձրության, մնացած յոթը՝ 689 կիլոմետր բարձրության վրա:

Հնդկական երեք արբանյակներից երկուսը պատրաստված են տիեզերական տեխնիկան ուսումնասիրող ուսանողների կողմից, որոնք այդպիսով գործնական փորձ են ձեռք բերել:
